Nice!

This one's going to be tough to play on one life.  Every boss can KO you in a hurry if you're unlucky.

Exactly, thats why it took several attempts to even get that far.  Best of luck to you

On a more serious note, I've played EarthBound today for so long, I feel all tense and mentally worn out.
Then you called your mother and felt better?

Since it seems the rules for Ninja Gaiden 2 are making the game fairly easy, I will change it to 1 life only.

Thank you. Now it'll be fun and challenging. Will be much more dangerous to point rack when you only got one chance.

I needed something that would be a pain in the ass, so that I can undo that pain, unleash it back on the game. Shotgun Knee Attack! Goooooosh! Its all in the reflexes. But where's Ryu when I need him, damn ninja twins! Update: Ooh, Shadow Bimmy! Forgot about him, and his "Hadouken!" Hey, no fair, I can't channel energy and blast fireballs out of my hands.

92,010

Very nice... I died in the exact same spot a little earlier today, but my score was half what yours is.. I gotta focus on my shotgun kneeing!

Okay, update to my score. Much higher score on a lower stage. If I had been able to keep going my score would have been so awesome. I am having soooo much trouble with Arnold. The guy's a @#$%ing asshole!

3rd score 96160

Now that's more like it! Still, same trouble spots. Pretty much all of the underwater base, the dress shirt-blue jeans guys, Arnold, and the mustached Abobo. Any Arnold except for the last one in the last stage, for some reason this one is easier than the others. And every ninja twins, I get hit by one, hit again by the other, back and forth, only lucky to get an uppercut or knee attack in, and have difficulty always in getting the cyclone kick to work when I need it I end up just doing a regular jump kick...stupid legs, cooperate!

4th score 112430

If only I could do a nice recording of my gameplay, then you would know what becoming awesome is! I hadn't gotten to the last boss in a long time so may take me some time to beat him down again, but I will.

5th score 119480

By the way, I intend to take the victory for Double Dragon 2 and Ninja Gaiden 2, you can have Kickle Cubicle since I suck at that one. But this is your chance to show me that I suck at all three of them.

Oh, new score below.

One life high score, low score, or advancement in game?

I'm up for all three!

But rules show for high score. Get to it Hayabusa!

New Double Dragon 2 score. Not much, but lasted a little longer on the final boss.

6th score 121620

Keep on cruisin', move on to a better score.

Oh, is point racking allowed for Double Dragon 2? Why I ask is that I tested it out to see how much I can punch an enemy before they die, and so long as you only hit them once, let them recover after each blow, you can hit them as long as you want until you tire of punching them in the face. I spent some ten minutes smashing Linda in the face and the bitch took it and kept on coming at me. Sure you only get 10 points per hit and it takes a very long time just to earn any significant amount of score from it, but if someone had that patience for this it can be applied. I'm not in favor of it, nor will I use it for any of my legit games. Just want to put it out there that there is a way to point rack without any kind of thing to force you along, no timer or anything like that so it can decided now to allow or not.

With that in mind, I will forbid point racking in Double Dragon 2.

Very good. My thoughts exactly. Not that either I or Wickedwonka will take advantage of this, just gotta make sure rules are covered as completely as possible (in case someone else were to choose this one later), but sometimes you don't know until you start playing and messing around in the game till there is something discovered that may spoil things with cheapness.

By chance, Bimmy is such an expert of this game that he'll know if anybody racked points during his/her run.

Ouch! Accidently bumped my NES too hard, scrambled the graphics, glad I didn't have a higher score, actually ended up being 100 points short of my previous score. Whew.

Alright. Can't believe how much I whooped this guy's ass on barely any health, he was scared.

7th score 128000

This score has been beaten.

Dammit! For once I got all the way to the end of the last stage with all of my lives, the ninja twins take one, I have the rest to use on the final boss, and blew it! With a few lives to work with I shoulda had him, he kicked my butt this time. I should've before fighting gotten up, washed my hands of the sweat and waited until I was calm enough to fight with more control. Score as nearly 3000 points lower than the pic above though so I wouldn't have even bested myself, other than beating the game.

Great pick lospunchados and best of luck. With that said, hit us with a 3rd classic, Bimmy!
