Course 3: V5T-C36-3WG Wall Jumps 1-7 (I'd say it's medium difficulty, advancing to hard if you take the bonus room). New Super Mario Bros Wii style.

Okay here's another one. It's very cryptic and I'm not sure how good it is but it's in the style of Metroid. I think I made it a bit too tough but you guys are probably pretty good.

Profile. Click your picture "More Info" . Boom Maker ID

Search ID with Maker ID of someone you want to play the levels of or like their levels. Click the star on their profile and then you can just go to course world and at the top go to the star and it will pop up all the courses of the people you follow that have been uploaded recent first

If anyone happens to find the courses for SMB, SMB3 or Super Mario World made on here can you link the course IDs? I think from there you can find courses made by the same maker. I know SMB and SMB3 are on the online subscription, but I just like having those world records to play for and to see all the places people die.

I've been loving this game and I don't want to sound negative but I really want a Super Mario Bros. 2 version for the next one! Also, I wish you could force someone to play as Luigi or a Toad as like a themed level. Like certain levels you can play as anyone, but some you have to play it as Luigi. Just for fun.

I'm sure someone has already made levels like this but I thought it would be a fun idea. Mario takes a trip to the arcade and plays a couple games he was in before the release of the NES. Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong.

Lonsta.... that upside down stage is hard. I couldnt play it anymore. That upside down stuff makes me get a headache. I dont know why. Everytime i run into a level with it unless its extremely easy i have to skip it. Its disorienting and tedious.

upside down gimmick is one i wish they didnt include.

few other things i wish theyd not have done is multiplayer where you pick up and throw players. Hate it. Everytime you are on a narrow platform and have to wait you just get grabbed and thrown in a pit. I personally wish the characters didnt interact at all and you just raced them playing the level yourself . That way half these levels arent broken in multiplayer. You should just be abke to see them as a shadow. I slso hate condition clears in multiplayer. You do all the work . Get bombarded by the other players and cant get the key to the door. Someone takes your jey and gets the instant win since the flag pole is the other side of the door. Pretty much keys in general ruin multiplayer. When its a level that is straight get to the goal with no key roadblock bottlenecks. those are alot of fun

Sorry everyone.... but I thought I'd post in this thread because it's more current.

I just borrowed Mario Maker (ORIGINAL) from a friend....

But I start playing... and I can't change to SMB3, I don't have barely ANY items to use.... WHAT IN THE HELL!!!???

Is this for real? How in the hell do I get all the good shit? Do I really have to play the game to "unlock" stuff? Is there a way to just unlock everything? This is pure and absolute barbarity.

Please someone help me

I am will be buying Switch for my boys 5-8 (their birthdays). Is it too hard for an 8 year old to make something in Mario Maker?

Make something good? Yes

you can slways tell when you get stuck playing an 8 year olds level in the game. Its ugly and all over the place. Your kid will have fun for sure. The rest of the mario maker community? Not as much lol

i wish you could filter out kids levels somehow. Like put a birthday in the maker id

Did they carry over the first Super Mario Maker levels (the kind people created and posted online) so you can play them using Mario Maker 2?

None of mine carried over, so no.  I had to remake them all.

game physics are tweaked, and some wouldnt even work in this game. So that would be a bad idea.

Helpful tip.

Quite late by new gaming standards, I know... Not really my style, though.

I made a few levels... and... meh. I'm annoyed at not having everything. Am I the only one?

I feel the game would be way better if it just gave you all the items/level possibilities.

I'll play it again and play some levels online that others have made... Maybe make a few more levels...

Does Mario Maker 2 come with everything all loaded up and ready to go?

If so, then shame on me.

My buddy just lent me the game, though... even fully loaded I can't say I'd buy it. I'd borrow it from someone after 4 years. Good god, this game is 4 years old? Whelp... I'll jump into the Mario Maker 3-4 thread by the time I get to 2.

yes it does come with everything. Except for 2 bonus items for beating story mode.

Do what I said. Set your wii u clock forward 2 weeks. Put the game in. Boom all unlocked. Then later just go fix your clock back.

Or go to make a level and just drag hundreds of ground tiles over a stage. Itll unlock stuff.
