^ Nice score yourself Caleb! I was glad to see this one come back up. I have discovered and enjoyed many nes games due to playing in these contests and Rollerball is definitely one of my favorites.

On a side note,when I first saw the thread I thought the game was Roller Games. So glad it wasn't.

Had over 2.3 million on my first ball and then promptly shit the bed. I tend to play my best pinball (NES or actual) with a little buzz goin so tomorrow night I will be picking up some performance enhancing Miller Lite.

Nice scores by everyone so far. I think this is the first time in tournament history that almost every participant has posted a score on Day 1 of any round. Keep 'em coming!

I know it's gamesmanship waiting last second to post,but I like seeing early scores because it fuels me to do better. I like seeing the bar to see if I can surpass it.

I did about 3.2 million of this on one ball. The first two I got some cheap drains and almost reset but just said screw it let's see what happens. I had multi-ball for so long it was ridiculous. Getting and keeping the 3 cherries on the slots is vital and will help you immensely! It was crazy seeing the bonus points I got after my run. It was around 900k. Too bad I wasn't able to do much with my bonus ball. I maybe got about 20k out of it.

There should be some really impressive scores this week. Out of everyone that posted, I was the only one that didn't score over a million points on the first day. It looks like I'm going to have my work cut out for me if I want to have any chance of making it to the next round.

Ball is stuck forever

Bagged a score this morning that I'm not embarrassed by, but probably represents the max I'm likely to get on an emulator given the control subtleties. ( > 3 Million )

Hopefully I can get some console time in this week to get a more secure score, given what's already been posted for Tier 1.

I just had my best game ever. As high as these score are already, I hope it holds up in case I can't improve upon it.

Yeah, I think thats the way you have to be with this game or any pinball game for that matter. Unless you literally die 5 seconds into the game, or have close to zero points I wouldn't typically go reset crazy. Any ball could be worth potentially millions of points whether its your first or the last.



Haha thanks Santa, your scores not lookin to shabby either. I was definitely dropping some "fuckin toilet" bombs every time my ball got to the bottom screen last night too.  

Man,just when I thought my 3.5 million score was pretty solid.....

Makes me curious as to what the winning scores will be. And I think I've figured out how to consistently get out of the toilet,I just haven't consistently done it.

You know Thundercat08 is going to come out of nowhere with an insane score and I gave no idea how Beliskner and Velinos are going to do.

I need to do it consistently to confirm it,but I'm pretty sure if you use the right flipper to send the ball through the "loop" and have enough speed built up when it gets down to the left flipper,you can launch the ball using the end of the left flipper to hug the outer wall on that right side and come out on the second playfield. The key is getting enough speed built up.

Hopefully my score is good enough to survive and advance to the final round, but I'll keep trying just in case.

Had 2,3 million on the first ball, an extra ball x4 multiplier and the arrow to the left was fixed in the up position. Then my emulator crashed. Haven't been so devestated for a while .
Got this fairly bad run afterwards. Hoping to get a better score eventually but I've had enough for now.
