Without bea we might not even of completed as many games as the previous year
Right, but without me last year we wouldn't of had that mark.  Plus even if Bea did a normal number of games (let's say 40), and other people completed a further 30 of the titles she did because they are popular ones, we'd still be over 400.

I plan on completing more games next year than this year. Now that I've completed some games this year that I hadn't before I'll be able to fly through them next year. With the new competition schedule I'll focus more on this thread in the second half of the year

Considering the games left, I highly doubt I will be able to hit 250 games this year, but I will try to aim for 220 games completed.
I will still try to leave some of the most popular ones of that list left for other people to beat.

Chances are I'll be working on all the Super Scope games eventually. The ones already done are ones I already own.

Luckily they are pretty inexpensive last I checked.  I can't imagine there's too many copies of Bazooka Blitzkrieg floating around, but no-one wants Super Scope games

How long do the batteries in that thing last?  Because I feel like each of them is gonna be a grind, and you might want to practice with an emulator.  And save your shoulder...

130 hours, according to the manual.

I'm more worried about my vision than my shoulder using the thing.

RoboCop vs. Terminator is done, and 10 levels of Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego? are done.
Hopefully I can catch myself before the next weekend.

On the NES you have to finish 80 rounds of Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego before you retire, which made no sense since you capture Carmen at round 50, making it 30 rounds of extra reduntant gameplay. I don't know how the one of SNES is though. Perhaps they balanced it a little more.

Man you guys are doing great. I saw Yoshi's Cookie on the unbeaten list. I didn't even know there was a SNES version. I played that game a ton as a kid on the Game Boy, and a couple years back I unearthed my old Game Boy and fired up Yoshi's Cookie. I heard the title music, nostalgia'd out, and I fully credit this game for my return to retro gaming as an adult. So I beat it on SNES.

True Lies is done.
And I did another 5 missions on Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego.

Nice job on True Lies.  That's a tough one to get through.  I was pretty pumped the first time I beat that game many, many years ago.

Been doing a lot of repeats, but I need to play Super Brawl to refresh myself, so I should be able to clear that this weekend. I also need to play Air Cavalry, which I nearly got on my first and only try, and then I want to take a serious look at MVP Football or QBC 96

After a very hectic week, I hope to beat another game or 5 this weekend.
Going to catch that sneaky Miss Sandiego today.

Trying to power through an RPG before the year ends. Despite the fact I have a Switch arriving, and we will have family staying in our game room, I WILL get this done.

I have had an awfully hectic time in the last few days, but I will power through the 10 games season for Super Bases Loaded 2 before the end of this week.

Getting close on the RPG, trying to rush through as fast as possible before family gets here tomorrow evening. Gonna be real hard to get any SNES time for the rest of the year once they get here so that will very possibly be my final game for 2017. Shame too, I could easily knock out the NBA Lives and most of the Maddens

Lost Vikings 2 is done.

Tried a bit of Super Turrican 2 ... I think I need to give it another look.  To my surprise I wasn't really digging it the first time.

I know for a fact opinions are mixed on it.  It will probably be one of the more controversial (well, relatively) titles in my rankings

Good to know!

I'm just guessing that it's a game that really picks up at a certain point.  My initial thought is that it's a bit more cumbersome to control than I expected.
