It's my very first post and I'd like say Hi and to announce my homebrew game: an unoficial port of the arcade game Berzerk to our beloved console.
Unfortunately it's only available in digital format 'cause I live outside US and would be impracticable to ship overseas, but if anyone is interesed to publish it just let me know.
Get it here: https://parisoft.itch.io/berzerk
Hope you enjoy.

This is great, congrats! Added it to the 2019 NES Games thread. Assuming this is completely unrelated to this other port of Berzerk/Frenzy which hasn't been released (https://forums.nesdev.com/viewtop...) from 2016? They actually uploaded a new video of it two months ago strangely enough.

No relationship with that.
Thanks for adding to the 2019 thread!

Just watched your YouTube clip of this. This looks like the finest home port of Berzerk yet! Better than the official Atari 2600 and 5200 versions, which were pretty good in the first place; better than the Frenzy version too. The firing sounds and robot explosion sounds aren't quite arcade perfect, but they get the job done. Great work on Evil Otto's taunts. Can't wait to download and play this on my NES PowerPak! Thanks so much!

Very cool. Thank you, André. Love me some Berzerk. One of my only 2600 CIBs. I'll give it a spin this weekend.

Thank you for your game!   Very close to the arcade version. It is a pity that even with the slow laser mode is still difficult to play. But hopefully two player mode will fix that. It's good that robots can kill each other and be destroyed against walls.
However, sometimes a smiley face can kill player instantly, right after loading a level. Was it like that in the arcade?..

There are two versions of the arcade game and "fast lasers" and "slow lasers" are terms used to identify these two versions.
The first version of the game is called "slow lasers": there are only 3 kinds (or color) of robots and the laser speed is always slow, but when you reach 5000 points, evil Otto (smile) speed is doubled. Also, Otto spawns early in the room, so you have to move away fast from the start point.
The second version is called "fast lasers": there are 14 kinds (or color) of robots that starts firing slow lasers but from 7500 points the lasers speed become very fast. Evil Otto speed is always the same as the player and he spawns late in the room compared to the previous version.
So, these terms don't dictates the dificulty of the game but it's style. In "slow lasers" your main enemy is Otto and in "fast lasers" you have to bother with the robots.

Being a huge fan of the 2600 version, as well as the 7800 homebrew of Berzerk/Frenzy, very eager to check this out.

If anybody is working to release this on a physical cart kindly let me know
