As a kid, I really enjoy the pokemon games on Gameboy. They were so cool, great attention to details and best of all, a lot of secrets to find.

Getting Mew with the truck, getting the glitch zone, etc.


Recently I knew the "Buried Alive" story, and how it was the real final boss of Lavender Town, but it was changed, according to some reading that I did about this.

Anyone knows more information about this?

sheesh we've come from reading rumours of mewthree and pikablue in 1999 to reading about haunted pokemon in 2014ish....full circle.

BUT , why the sprite is on the original cartridges?

At least they thought in used it?

The stories about it are fake. None of this data actually exists in the game.

That's called a Creepypasta, or scary internet urban legends.
