I'm referring to the "first form" that you fight while hopping on small platforms. I keep fucking up and make a mistake with my jumping or the boss knocks me off, which is instant death. It's a really aggravating boss fight. And once you run out of lives you have to repeat the entire stage before getting another chance.

What's the best weapon for fighting him? Or do you just use the sword? Is there a particular strat that makes the fight easier?

I did beat him once with the fireball but it must have been a fluke because I've only been able do it once. And then the second form killed me.

That guy is good. I need to know how he killed the final bosses so quickly. They should take a lot more hits.

EDIT: I just read the comments for a TAS video and the backwards attack with your sword does a shitload of damage. That's how he beat the bosses so damn fast.
