I have five separate auctions.

#1 - Random gaming box - $42 shipped to USA (surcharge for overseas) (Eb69)
#2 - Set of 2 different brand new 1992 SMB Kids-a-Peel static cling stickers - $25 shipped (superNESman)
#3 - Mega Man insert certificate - $8 shipped (nesguy)
#4 - UItima Exodus hint book (full size) - $9 shipped (dougman999)
#5 - NES controller (works; clean) with inexplicably dark buttons - $7 shipped (NGD)

#1- I shoved it all in my box
It's my first ever random gaming box. It's the standard flat rate priority shebang. I will tell you some of what's in there:

  • Wisdom Tree promotional cassette - contains a commercial for the company that was actually played on the air back in the day at a radio station (call letters are still on there). It's in its own cassette case.
  • Small penguin "Power Games" famiclone game system that plays famicom games, includes a 110-in-1 famicom multicart, corded controller and AC adapter.
  • Never-worn ring-neck gaming tee
  • Games! of course. An uncommon NES game, a Pal NES game with cool alternate artwork, and a surprise game cartridge for another system entirely
  • A really nice SNES accessory with instructions. This was actually mine from childhood, and I thought it was cool enough then to buy it with my hard-earned allowance dollars!
  • A TON of assorted Nintendo manuals and a few inserts. No NES manuals, all SNES and N64. A few for other systems for good measure. I know I threw a Phantasy Star II manual for Genny in there.
  • 2 Nintendo Promotional VHS's
  • Some vintage Nintendo books
  • And a few other goodies to fill out the box.
It's literally crammed full with no room, all with great stuff.

#2- Just Static Clingenmeyers
These are new. The one is completely sealed. The other looks like the seal is separating on the end but it's still definitely new. These are labeled "1" and "3" so I guess you'll need to find number 2 somewhere else, punks! As you can see they contain different bkgd elements and characters. They bear the Nintendo seal of quality.

#3- Mega sexy paper, man!

Pack-in with some damned Mega Man, I don't know which one. Maybe MM3 because some of them have that yellow bar that advertised the deal on the game's box. Anyways, here it is, it's nice and mint. CAP-NES-US-3 and sorry guys, it expired in 1991 so don't to crying to Capcom when they don't mail your check out

#4- Mega sexy paper, man, 2!

You can't judge a book by its cover. No, wait...this really is an Ultima Exodus Hint Book and nothing more. Well screw aphorisms, just bid. I'm starting the bidding at its original cover price of $8.
#5- What are dark, round and make Mario jump?

I asked about this a few weeks ago and we just didn't come to a consensus. All I know is, there's a better home for this oddity than mine. The buttons are molded that color; there was no paint or other process applied to them. It was mentioned they might be replacement buttons from a fix kit, but I haven't seen a kit that had this color of buttons yet so who knows!

^hahaha yes! And I hope this keyboard never gives out on me. You can't see but it's a Gateway 2000 keyboard. Yep, before they dropped the 2000 because it was no longer futuristic. The reason why I won't let go of it after 17 years of faithful service? It's an "Anykey" model with onboard macro and remap functions. I literally use it every day, for data projects including the price guide and various articles, for eBay to do repetitive things like dumping pictures into listings, and I've even got my passwords programmed into it.

It's as old as my childhood SNES, but I value it far more. If you squint in the bottom right you can see where the down-right directional key is at an angle. Actually it's inverted from back when I used to play Descent over the college campus network, I used my thumb to hit it as the acceleration key while I controlled pitch/yaw with the numeric keypad.

Sir, yes sir!

Also nobody has come up with any good creative answers for my #5 riddle. I thought "Princess Peach's nipples" would pop up (no pun intended), but come on my fellow perverts!

All in good time...glad someone noticed that, though Needless to say, we're making good on an old claim.
