I got the game last night and am still getting a feel for it before I dive in. So far I'm loving it!

Can anyone give me some advice on forming an alliance? I'm stuck on a mission where that is the objective and it seems that no matter how much or how quickly I send gold the alliance meter goes back down.

You usually have to send a ton of gold. Max out your scout count, and have them all go over with a full stack of gold. You usually have to have production ramped up pretty high to make that, or items to sell for that, but it's not a fast process regardless.

Thanks! I'll try to be more patient and crank up production to have a steady flow of gold once my scouts return.
