I've been playing Red Dead Redemption ever since I've gotten my X360 back from a friend. I lent mine because his got the imfamous RROD and he had nothing to play.

Weird thing is, when I went to his appartment to get it back, he popped in Madden 2008 and my X360 had the ring of death. We used the towel trick on it and now it's back to normal. So far...

About 15 hours into the game, but I'm taking my sweet time hunting some bucks and shooting some horseshoes.

This summer I've played...

Red Dead Redemption. Ok. Not thrilled with the wild west genre, but a pretty good game. Even if you think you don't like western games. I read on the amazon description, 40 different animals? I dont think I've run across that many. The side missions are pretty cool. Cool landscapes. Get the guy drunk, lol at the bar. Watch him stumble around. Or play blackjack, or that 5 finger knife game. Haha. A bunch of bored cowboys have nothing better to do than to try and chop up their fingers.

If the original gta games were an 8.5 or 9, (or 9.5) this one is maybe an 8, or 8.5

Castlevania 1 (nes). Wii shop. Good 80's gaming.
Mario Galaxy 2. 9/10. Another excellent game in the mario franchise.
Paperboy. Midway arcade treasures (ps2). Another good 'ol 80's game.

Final fight double impact for ps3! Really interesting game. Lots of cool modes. Great sound. Worth getting if you liked the original final fight.

Kind of like buying a dvd with directors commentary, extra's, other goodies. If you have the original bare bones dvd.

After many attempts over the years, I've finally gotten into NetHack.

I used to think it was vastly inferior to ADOM, but it simplifies quite a lot of stuff for the better, and still has some really interesting depth of play.

I'm playing The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. I beat Oracle of Seasons about a week ago and used the code from the end of the game on my Ages save. These are my favorite LoZ games so far and I highly recommend them to anyone who hasn't played them.

I just started up Holy Diver. It's really damn hard and reminds me of Castlevania 1 with fireballs and Dio.

That game looks awesome dude. I gotta get me a copy of it. It's fun seeing zelda being redone with a current consoles capabilities with that old school flavor.

That is what I am playing now. I'm not going to lie here, I am fuckin' bored. It is almost a chore to finish it. It is wierd. Zelda: A Link to the Past is my favorite game of all time, and I just can't get into 3D dot Game Heroes. I don't know why.

I think the two levels when you move around with the Statue of Liberty is quite difficult. Now I have died twice on the second one.

Castlevania III. Just had to start over because I lost my password after my phone got water damage.
On EMU, I'm also regularly switching between Mike Tyson's Punch-Out and Tengen Tetris.

Working on Romance of the Three Kingdoms II at the moment, as well as getting a bit of practice on Back to the Future II & III. It's definitely a beatable game, and with infinite continues there's little reason not to beat it, but it's LOOOOONG.

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Madden 2001, I know sounds retarded, but my 2011 is in the mail on it's way, and I've yet to play this old one.

Some funny things have happened, a fumble, and every player gets around it and can't get to it. This goes on for 5 minutes until I control a player and do a running dive for it.  My wife could have used my controller for a vibrater, thing was going crazy.

I catch a ball WAY in bounds but ref says it's out, and you can't f-ing challenge it even though challenges are displayed.

I tackle the opposing player in the endzone, no safetey, ball spotted at the one. Tackle them on the next play for another safety, and get it, yay. My old trick of a punt block called on first down works sortof.

Just wanted to add, I'm doing some Faxanadu on the side. I haven't really gotten in to the game in the past, so it's gonna be a little bit of challenge trying not to get bored.
