The other day I go to the Great Escape, mostly known for comics, old toys and other stuff, but they keep a few games, but never before had I seen but one manual, and instead I find a CIB copy of the Punisher and the box has a little bit of wear but hey for $7 who's complaining?
Today was a bad day, wanted to get out, so I head to the farther away Half Price Books, notable for usually being Buy It Now(ebay) Books as of late which is slimy, but sometimes their ignorance or laziness pays off and it did today. I found 4 Japanese GBA games, all CIB in immaculate shape. I had been wanting the prequel of the one since the earliest GBA days, and the others I've always wanted these three and potentially a fourth in the set, and the best thing of all they were just $5 each. I got Kururin Paradise and bit Generations Digidrive, Dostream, and Orbital. All of them complete, all even in their baggies with little or no wear on them at all and with all the papers too. I found out not knowing it when I got home but the Kuru game is worth $28-38 currently and those bit Generations games seem to go for $30-40 each complete from US sellers which stunned me given the retail source.
(Non gaming) on top of that found another Lum book in the manga area (tiny at this store) so I'm up to like 6/9 of those translated.
Anyone here familiar with bit Generations games? I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to score and move the ball along away from the crusher in Digidrive and it's driving me nuts, best score is 11, usually crap out at 5 so I know I have to be screwing something up.
