Look at it this way, that's another ~$800 toward a gray NWC (best investment on your 'want list', imo).

Okay, so if I win, can I just pay the money up front right?

Yes. Paying the full amount up front is preferred!

I can't think of anyone who would NOT prefer a full payment up front. Maybe a mafia money laundering business? ;-)

Well I know of one case and that's my industry

We sell our materials to a refinery and hedge them somtimes if we know the market for that product will go higher. But yeah, that's one out of a billion cases and it's on a scale much larger than Sculptors Cut

Credit card companies thrive on those who can not pay upfront! How else would they collect fat interest payments?

Guess it's time to bump the ol' WTB thread!...or is it? Meh, I really want this item and I have a personal attachment to this game. I just wish it wasn't so damned expensive.

I'll see what I can gather in the coming days. Shit my accountant is gonna kill me if I do what I want to do right now though.

Fire your accountant and use his salary on this!

Alright folks, quick review. This is not an ebay style auction, it's more of a regular auction style. There's no getting your bid in at the last second. The auction is set to end at 9pm NA time (time at the top of the screen in the header). All posts have a time stamp. I will be using that time stamp to judge the final outcome. Once again, here is the rule:

If there is a bid within the final 60 seconds, the auction will be extended so there is a 60 second "grace period". Any additional bid placed in that 60 second grace period will start ANOTHER 60 second grace period. This is the online equivalent of the "going once, going twice, SOLD!".

For example: The highest bid is now $810. If at 8:59:45pm someone bids $820, that will extend the auction 60 second to 9:00:45. If nobody else bids, the auction will end. However, if someone bids $830 at 9:00:44, there will be another 60 seconds added. Then the auction will end at 9:01:44 if nobody else bids. Basically 60 FULL seconds will have to pass without a bid for the auction to end. So if someone bid at 9:00:45, you can bid at 9:01:45 but NOT 9:01:46.

I WILL NOT BE POSTING THE NEW END TIME EVERY TIME A LAST MINUTE BID COMES IN!!! PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS! The winning bidder will be determined afterwards by me. My wife and I have dinner plans so I don't even know if I'll be home at 9pm.

Now, if there is no bid from 8:59:00 to 9:00:00pm, the auction will end at 9:00:00.

Any questions, PM me.

Also, within the last 30 min or so, please refrain from posting anything other than bids. No commentary please! People will be refreshing a lot and we want to keep this simple for whoever is bidding.

Just to be clear, 900 its the new high bid. If you end up winning thats what you will pay. Theres no "reserve bid" like ebay. If you disagree with that then just delete your bid, i'll allow it this once

I remember a couple of years ago when I first tried to acquire this as a CIB and it was going for $250-$300. I picked one up then and said I would it be $1,000 in 5 years, and it's now $900 in less than 3. Go figure!
