Hmm... "This special offer is only for registered eBay users who received a Holiday Savings Coupon email from eBay or who logged into www.eBay.com... with their own eBay User ID and saw a Holiday Savings ad there."

I suppose they have a built-in way to prevent those of us who didn't get the email from using the coupon code... too bad.

I think anyone who has the code can use it. That is just legal jargon I think. You just logged into ebay and saw the coupon when you clicked the link Buyatari posted so buy something so you can save

I actually raised the price of a BIN auction to $25 and put "$5 coupon" in the title

That'd be awesome -- if anybody has success using it, let us know!

I dont remember getting a coupon like this. Is it something you have to get emailed to you to be able to use or a generic code?

You guy's can cheat the paypal system with this you know ?

Person A sells a item (not for real though) for 100 USD.
Person B buys it and uses the coupon.
Person B has to pay 75 USD.
Person A receives 89 USD (100 - 6 ebay costs - 5 paypal cost)

then do the same but now person B is the seller.

result:

Person A pays 75 USD and receives 89
Person B pays 75 USD and receives 89
+ 2 free feedbacks !

I did this with a belgian coupon in the past but I don't know if this still works. And to avoid legal issues , you can always sell the worlds best joke

Wow, thanks for the info. I could have used the save $25 one yesterday, but I'm sure I'll use all 3 of them this holiday season!

hmmmm. Buyatari was nice enough to refund my money so I could save the $25 bucks. I went to go pay him and entered in the code on paypal and it said it was not valid, here is a screen

http://i184.photobucket.com/al...ameDepot/ppscreen.jpg

I tried it again and checked the code box in the ebay checkout saying I would enter a code and that didn't work on paypal either. Maybe you do have to be mailed the code for it work. Thoughts, Suggestions?
