More than a couple.  This game definitely suffers from Gradis syndrome.

im pretty excited about it to be honest. i love stupid hard shooting games. i went into this week thinking id be playing  pretty average platformer and returning it for store credit on monday. turns out i am pleasantly surprised and this one is a keeper for me. this is what i love about the contests.

also this evening i got a new personal best. hope to see some fresh scores from competitors in all groups real soon to bring some life back into this thread.

I've been working on this game and, since I feel like I backed into advancing, my only goal is to beat my score from last year and see where it goes from there. This was actually my very first weekly contest game, so I'm having fun this week, no matter what!

Good luck to the rest from tier two for the next couple days, and good scores so far, Luke and Caleb. It'll be tough for me to pass either. I can only imagine what Thundercat is going to post...

This is it for the week for me. Have stuff to do over the weekend/next week and can only drag my computer with me. I wish I could have played more but being sick most of the week sucks.

updated my score by alittle bit. Played some late last night after a night out. Man, this game is so frustrating. I really hate that he has that whole ice physics when he runs. I don't think I really feel like playing anymore so awesome scores posted in my Tier and man nice score Vex! Can't wait to see what Egas and Thundercat posts.

That pretty much sums up how I was doing last night.  I'm going to keep going until there's not enough time to fit in another run.

As for my score:  I've went farther in the game than I ever thought I could, however, my score has been low thanks to dying at inopportune times.  Without the best weapon or no weapon at all, it's cost me thousands of points.  If I can fix that, I think I can get near the top of our tier.  That's if no one else updates their scores and I stop screwing up, of course

I'm likely not going to have enough time to post a picture of the prizes before I have to go to work, so I will list them all here. I'm pretty exhausted right now with this game, so I'm just going to post now. I had a 176K run right before this one and ended up in 4-1. For this run, I ended up in 3-4 I wish I was able to have the rocks longer without dying stupidly, otherwise I may have had a chance at 200K, or close. Playing this last year helped a lot too. I still know I can do better, but I think I'm done physically and mentally at this point. Good luck to the rest until the end of the tournament!

So I made it 5-1... fun fact: if you die during the 2nd half of 4-3 there are NO WEAPONS until you reach the boss of 4-4!

4-4, unarmed, is some beastly platforming! Unfortunately, you get very few points on a level where you don't have a weapon!

Yup, I've been playing a lot today and it is brutal and pretty much the same for all of the -4 levels. 

The worst part of no weapon is that you can't tell where any eggs are that might contain a fairy or skateboard or whatever.

I am playing this tell my thumbs are broke, I keep getting better. 3-2 is kicking my butt, I lose to many lifes there. Broke 150,000 1ST place here I come.

This is a really exciting and close finals! The only thing I'm sure of is that everyone in tier 3 is winning a game.
