Perhaps the issue the stickers came in was sealed in a cellophane or something and the sticker sheet wasn't actually physically attached to the issue, which would explain why they aren't found in old issues.
I don't think it was the Mega Man X issue, I seem to recall that one came sealed with a package of mega man x pogs.

EDIT: If it was a subscriber bonus then there would also have to be non-subscriber copies of the magazine out there which wouldn't have them, thus adding to the confusion.

Dont know what issue they came from, but I can sell you the spikey dude controller if you need one.

Or if someone has the sticker sheet to sell, I'll buy it and scan it so everyone can enjoy it.

Actually, if any of you graphically gifted guys feel up to the challenge, someone could even recreate the ones we are looking for! They are all pretty simple images, it wouldn't be that hard

I got that pic with the Dr Mario overlays from a European eBay site a couple years ago (not sure which one anymore)....so my guess is they weren't available in the US.

To be honest, I'm against people remaking these unless there's something like "Reproduction" clearly written on them, as I hope to find genuine copies of the Dr Mario & Final Fantasy ones in the future (as I'm sure others are as well).

I have a lot of Nintendo Power mags from issue 20 to 100 something (N64 era). Let me know what issues these were in and I'll check to see if they're in them.

I was talking to someone about this and they remember them coming from issue 50. Anyone checked that one? I don't know much just throwing what someone said to you.

I just went through every issue from the very first in 1988 all the way through to the last issue of 1992 page by page and have found nothing. I will go through 1993-1996 in the next couple of days,but i don't think these came in Nintendo Power.

Aaron - I'm 100% sure these came in Nintendo Power... I remember getting them as a kid. Did you have a subscription? I'm fairly sure most of these were subscriber's bonuses, and were wrapped with the issue in cellophane when they came in the mail.
