Clayfighter Sculptors Cut and Transformers Beast Wars done!

I thought I would have a go at the games nobody in their right mind would touch. Dear god, those games are bad....

I might have a go at beating Jet Force Gemini, but I will probably take my time on this (as I want to enjoy it) and it is likely someone will beat me to it!

Finished Shadowgate 64 for the first time last night. Fun game, although it's a shame they didn't do more with it. Some different endings, or even an alternate route through the castle would have gone a long way in terms of replay value.

Oh man, I was actually thinking about firing up Shadowgate 64 this weekend to add it to the list...ah well, I'll just either play something else, or I'll play it anyway, one of the two

But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Honestly, I'm surprised there's been as much as there has been.  Most of the guys that collect N64 here are doing it more because they can than to play the games.  That and the good games are REALLY good, but the bad ones are REALLY bad

Hell, go for it Wiz. Don't let me stop you!

Seriously though, I was kinda surprised by how much I enjoyed the game. I was always a big fan of the original, but have never really taken to the first person perspective when it comes to 3D games. I guess it's not so bad as long as there's no one shooting at me (FPS are the worst!), but overall, Shadowgate 64 is a pretty good game. It's well written, has a great sense of humor, and perhaps best of all, nearly all of the puzzles made actual logical sense!

btw i have a question. does "beat" mean beating a difficulty only or getting to the credits ? dr mario 64 has credits on every difficulty you beat, on wave race no credits even on reverse, both just says "try next difficulty" or "try our next challenge". same on excitebike, im getting sick of trying the pro mode (controls are awful) just to check if there's any credits after it. if "beat" means beating a difficulty, then add excitebike 64 done, i,ve beat it on easy & normal. pro is out of my capability.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that if you beast it on expert and there were no credits that there won't be any so I'll give you credit for wave race and excitebike at least until someone proves me wrong.
