First time playing this game. It's tough!

Can get to the ice world and beat a couple levels but that's it.

yeah i have a feeling people are waiting this week for some reason.

I'm not playing it, not much into this game. I played it many years ago when I'd first bought it, got up to world 6 then not being able to get any further put it aside, haven't picked it up since except for once briefly a couple years ago but the overly quick controls and frustrating gameplay made me turn it back off shortly after.

yeah i played it this week a few times and have gotten nowhere and have a very very crappy score, so ill put it up tomorrow but im sure i wont even place if 3 other people put up scores.

Just a random suggestion... being an occasional spectator I've noticed a few weeks take a long time for anyone to post a score. Maybe you could think about adopting a percentage bonus rule for the first person who posts a score every week in these contests. Like 10% bonus points or something... anything to nudge people to post scores earlier, maybe light a fire under the rest once there is a score to beat.

I guess this wouldn't work unless the game had a numerical score... but anyway. Maybe a bonus for "first blood" would help spice things up a little bit in the earlier part of the week.

I don't have it, and couldn't find it today at the flea market, so unless something changed, I'm out this week (like last week, it's going to kill me trying to make up so much ground so late in the game).

Yea I think it is more fun when people post their scores as they go instead of holding out until the very end. Makes the competition more interesting!

I simply think people are not playing. I tried it a few times and will try to post a score tonight or tommorrow, but I need to find the time to do it since I'm not at home for the week end. It will be on emulator since I don't have a NES here, controls are bad on my joystick.

doesnt matter, if ppl dont play idc,, its not about the points and the prizes to me,, its about ppl playing games they have never played before like this one,

this game is pretty good and i've never played it before. i'll get a score posted.

The game is actually excellent in the genre, and I'm happy you choosed it, and it finally gives me a reason to play it and actually have fun with it. But it's sure there will be less scores for that kind of game vs extra popular game.

And yes, the scoring points system is very cool.

What level did you reach NESKing?

i got to the ice levels witch is only the second set of levels. this game is a fun game but its kinda hard, its just going to take a lot of play time to get good. i do have a score that is a tad higher now, ill post it later.

This game is very fun, its like a dumpy version of Fire n Ice. I'm sad I didn't get to play it until just today.

The game is actually a much older concept than Fire n Ice.

I'll have a score to post later also. I usually just practice the game a bit during the week when I have time, then sit down for a serious score run come sunday.

The idea of getting a % for submitting an earlier score, Im not very keen on. Some people may just be busy or have other things to do and are not able to make a score attempt until sunday afternoon when there is nothing going on. It would be silly to get a higher score then someone, but have them win against you because they submitted their slightly lower score a few days earlier.

This game is interesting, but can be VERY frustrating. It takes a while to get used to.

I agree with Herbalist. I don't have much time during the week and do my playing on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
