I really really like this poster but I can't justify $78 for it

Is that just the poster that was included in the Contra box?

Konami didn't include posters in their games. Konami game posters were mail-order only, and are very hard to come by. Question is, why didn't you bust out the tape measure...the measurements are clearly listed in the auction...

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

yea as i said sorta a spur of the moment thing. i was bidding on it for a while, and then i forgot about it, jumped online real quick the night it was ending, and just put a crazy bid in within the last few seconds. and won it at what i felt was a high price. And i kinda regretted dropping my cash on it, because i was broke at the time lol. I had a spot for it picked out, but i actually won these other things that im gonna put there instead, which is the main reason why im selling it. Plus to get my cash back. It might be sold though, its in the air at the moment. Thanks!

Yeah, I may have considered it considering how tough they are to find (first Konami poster I've personally seen), but I can't afford it at the moment.

I hate to tell it to you, but it's not that hard to bring a high quality scanned image somewhere and have them to print it out on poster size paper...............

.............in fact that's not such a bad idea.

yea i know that, but this is old for sure. its all yellowed on the back. and worn looking on the back. Paper feels all old too. plus the owner had it in storage and was shocked it went for so much, he even went out and bought like a $5.00 roll to mail it in so it wouldnt get damaged lol. told me he had no idea the thing was worth something like this. But yea i do know you can do that and i looked into it before i bid. Plus if he remade it im sure he wouldnt have torn a little piece of color off the corner, where a piece of tape used to be. :-) By the way its sold, thanks guys for the interest

I'm not saying HE remade it, I'm just saying that it's not that hard to have a poster printed, and if you're looking for something neat to hang on your wall, and don't mind that it's not original, you can have a place print a poster of your favorite games.

oh ok i was a little confused about the "i hate to tell you but" phrase. i thought you were implying it wasnt real. But anyways yea your right, that would be sweet to get like a poster made of the original Castlevania box art, or even something like the original Super Mario Bros.
