Just put the finishing touches on it and it's the longest intro yet, edging out the Battletoads intro by just a little bit.

Nice update, Santa.

Now... I wake up and there are several high 300K and one even past 400K. And only one of them was reached at the last world... I am clearly missing something on my run, since I beat the bloody game and my score is the lowest of that bunch.
With Fabio nowhere to be seen, my weekly 5K run done under a temperature of -1 Celsius degrees, and with all this love poisoning the air and making me grump, I will hit the bottle of rum and try to figure out how they are scoring that bloody high.
And spend my day being the grumpiest of all grumps too.

All I know for sure is we shoulda been practicing q-Bert instead of BATTLETOADS because q-Bert is worse than baseball by far!

I probably should have been practicing Adventure Island 2 the past week instead of Battletoads, but I'm still obsessed with beating that game. It's going to be crappy participation score for me.

Q*Bert is supposed to be one of the toughest NES games. I haven't tried it yet. I did play the Atari 2600 port a bunch as a kid.

I've been playing it for about 2 hours so far and have only beat stage 1 once, this is not my kind of game

It is almost noon, Fabio is nowhere to be seen, I am hopelessly drunk, extremely grumpy and can't figure out where are the bloody secret bonus stages that are allowing people to hit such high scores.
I will stick to my 311K score, curse lovers day till it ends and indulge myself with more rum and chocolate instead of keep trying.

That bit of not getting your final high score after beating the game is a very shitty move by the developers.
Anyway, I have been drinking since morning. I am too drunk to play properly now, but not drunk enough to type, somehow.
If I sobber up, I will try again, but that is unlikely. I intend to see the bottom of this bottle of rum in the nxt hour...

Damn! Nice scores everybody! Pooperjimtendont, wow!

Battletoads definitely burnt me. also the family needs dad more these days, as my beautiful baby momma has started back at work. Also my job has been more demanding, a lot of 10 hour days this week.

I hate to leave my competitiveness less than usual but it's just real busy around the dojo theese days.

I'll be going for participation on this one. I'll be sure to have one of the lowest scores.

I'll probably beat the game at some point because it seems fun, but I just wasn't interested in playing it much during the contest.

I went and beat it without dying just for the hell of it.
That 311K is my final score for this. Not in the mood to push for points today.

It's slow and boring pushing points in this game. I spent way to much fucking time this week playing due to being on vacation from my full time job ( I go back tomorrow)😱 All the shit I talked about SuckTendo last week caught up to me. I am also done with this game and won't be able to even start playing qbert until Tuesday at the soonest. I am downgrading my game room today so someone can move in for a year. It's like a piece of me is dying !!!

Between working part of today, working on the lawn, and hosting a BBQ I'm hoping to somehow fit in one more run.  Though I don't know why I'm bothering; the top scores are so far away it would take some sort of goddamn miracle
