I doubt they let you keep the glasses. (unless you steal them)

Whenever I see 3D stuff at the IMAX it's always plastic frame glasses that you return after the show.

I saw it! They give you pretty high quality plastic glasses, and you do get to keep them, at least at the theater i went to....

I was going to watch it this weekend. Is this the remake or the original movie in 3D?

I saw it too. The glasses they give you are actually really high quality. They charge you an extra two bucks to see the movie in 3D, so they let you keep the glasses. I'll take a pic, hold on a sec...

EDIT: Pseudonym, it's a remake.

It is a remake but sooooooooooo much of it is the same as the original... very closely followed not like say a Halloween remake where Rob took it almost a completely different way.

The original is pretty amusing low-budget horror, this one looks a lot more polished. I'll probably check it out tomorrow.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

I went to the theatre last night and there was a sign in the window. "My bloody Valentine is NOT being shown in 3D"........ Not sure what was up with that. So I watched Gran Torino instead. It was pretty good. Clint Eastwood is a crusty old man

Why don't you just get some free internet porn then, and not spend 2 hours in a theatre and pay $10.  They won't even let you jerk it in there, just ask Pee Wee.

Ha! But that is what makes cheesy horror, well, cheesy horror! You're _supposed_ to have hot nekked women in these kinds of flicks. And, that's what you're supposed to point out when one of your boys ask you about the flick:

"Hey man, you saw the new 3D flick, huh?"

"Yeah dude, it was pretty crazy. They had some hot nekked women in it, too!"

"Bonus!"

That is how it goes for us in the cheesy slaughter horror crowd haha

Well DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH why do you think the opening scene of Freddy vs Jason was a dream Jason was having of a chick stripping within the first 30 seconds of the movie and him going after her naked ass. Man the theatre here errupted in cheers and applause when the movie started!

I have the original Bloody Valentine on DVD (of course) and the new one follows it very very close.

Yeah I went in first thing last week when that was released and got my Special Edition Saw 5 as well... it was pretty fun to chase the cat around with that saw blade... hehe It's funny how it works when I go into the store for movies... went in to buy Saw 5 came out $140 something lighter in the wallet with a sackful of Horror DVD's. I have to admit I watched one of them that was so lame up until the last 10 minutes... then it was awesome effects. One girl gets stripped down (go figure) and then gets a bamboo pole shoved through her mouth out the back of her neck and then they sit the ends of the pole up on two other poles systematically suspending her about 2 feet off the ground held in place by only the pole through her head... very good effects!
