I picked this up 2 days ago, and so far I have seen very little to no info whatsoever on this item. Is it rare? Looks very legit from Nintendo, but I'm not 100% sure. Can anyone help? The box itself says it is the Asian version but it was assembled in Venezuela. Says it even has some built in games too. It plays the Famicom and NES games (through the converter), it even has AV output built into the board!

Edit...having some trouble uploading both pics in the thread, but this is the best I can do for right now, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks everyone for being nice to the new guy!

It looks like an Asian Famicom system with a converter to play 72 pin games, but I can't be certain.

Kind of weird with the Spanish text though, is there a code on the box?

I'm fairly certain that it's not a legitimate Nintendo product and rather just a typical Famiclone. Nintendo released toaster-like systems in most non-Japanese markets. This is likely a South American clone and not worth a ton.

Having the box is really cool though. Good grab regardless.

Guess I can't complain then. I only paid $10 for it!

If you paid ten bucks for it, then you got a good deal no matter what it is.

That idea negates many things, including sports games for one.
