Not sure if anyone on here actually follows soccer, but all i can is...

INTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inter has been my team for the past 5 or so years, and its amazing to finally see them in the champions league final!!

It's even more amazing to see them take down barcalona, arguably the best club in the world.

97% probably don't know what im talking about, but come on, any others watch the game?

I love watching soccer, and am a player myself. Unfortunately, my basic cable package (which I have never paid for) doesn't cover much for soccer.

I enjoy the World Cup as well as major international tourneys when each country has their best team fielded, but I just can't get into club soccer, European or MLS, just can't for some reason.

at least its good to see a couple people on here that somewhat share the passion. its hard to watch soccer because the games vary on so many different obscure channels (the first inter vs. barca game was on fox settante which pretty much plays like 2 live games a year).

im a player myself too, what position you play whatulive?

Im psyched for the world cup, praying for an Italy repeat. Club soccer is great as well, except for MLS thats just embarrassing and almost unwatchable. it feels like im watching a highschool soccer game.

Huge soccer fan here, waited up until 2:45 am here in Taiwan to see the game. Great goal by Pique and exiting end! I am Real Madrid, has always been and will always be, so I wasn't really supporting Milan or Barca, just believe the best team won! Let's see how the final in Madrid will turn out.

I also play on two teams here, practice 4 days a week and play matches on Wednesday and Sundays, I am goalie. What about you Zoso?

ac milan is pure crap right now. they're winning jack all, they cant find a decent manager, all their players are old and washed up, it surprising how they have any fans at all still.

inter meanwhile is big and bad, not sure if you've watched soccer lately but they just took down the biggest name in soccer. they are also in a good position to claim the treble, when's the last time ac milan or any other italian team did that?

inter is up and coming and will be, if they aren't already, the face of italian soccer.

Contrary to most americans, Soccer is my preferred team sport.
I'm pretty happy for the World Cups. The US had a good showing at whatever fifa cup in africa? a few months back (2nd overall i think?) That would be cool if they did well again to maybe help the sport more.

I wouldnt mind seeing another Italian run though. Bufon (spelling) was a mad man last year! It was fun to watch him goal keep.

Wow I didn't know we had football fans on NA. I'm quite a religious follower for most of the European leagues. I'm so psyched for Bayern to play in the final

I didnt expect that some european soccer fans here on NA, nice to see. Sadly I really think Bayern München will win the final (I dont like Bayern München,VFB Stuttgart is the one and only) because Bayern is gone better and better from game to game (in the Champions League) and not at last the have always so much luck. If they do it right they can win the biggest 3 titels (german master/german trophy and Champions League) in 4 games but also they can lost everything its really full of suspense.

inter will win no doubt. i dont think many people saw the first leg when inter vs. barcelona, inter looked world class and was definitely the better team. i think a lot of people judged inter from the 2nd leg in which they didnt look good at all.

T-42 days til world cup

Forza Italia!!!

I saw the first leg. Honestly I was surprised at how well Inter played.

It's because of Jose. They don't call him the Special One for nothing.

The 'special one' has done a great job in getting Inter to the final, but the problem for him is he hates italian football and may look to leave Inter even if he wins the Champions League.  IMO he will be back in the english Premier League at some point as that is his favoured league.  On the match though I thought Inter were fortunate with Barca's second goal being disallowed as Keita's handball was not deliberate.

handball doesnt matter if its deliberate, if it changes the momentum and direction of the ball because it hit a hand its a handball. if keita's hand wasnt the ball would not have landed right in front of bojan's foot.

yea i agree mourinho is not a big fan of italian football, but i dont see him back at the premiership anytime soon (unless its with arsenal, has wenger been fired yet?)
