I probably won't get another attempt in until tomorrow. I had a decent run this morning, but I ended up swarmed my the turbo poison moths on the fourth loop and lost my last two lives back to back. Me and skinny might be playing for the IC Title after that score.

Also, I'd like to point out that you took your last picture like it should. Anybody rolling the score need to pause the game immediately when they lose their last life, so we can see in which loop of the game they ended their run.

I haven't has as much time to play as usual either, so I'm hoping to get lucky. I keep hitting the wall around the 800k mark. I had over 800k this morning with two lives left and ended up losing them back to back on the same stage.

This will probably be the 3rd participation week for me too, guess I can't hang with the big dogs. This contest has me playing games that I would normally never play, which is cool.

I didn't pause it immediately after the rollover, considering I was being hit by 2 very fast knife throwers at the beginning of Loop 5. I actually died shortly after that (as you can see) as that situation absolutely SUCKED due to the speed of the knives, and them being one on top and one on bottom, I was screwed lol.

And because I killed the boss at the same time he killed me, the 5000 point bonus isn't show until after the death screen (in this case, the game over screen). Ironically this happened with the previous death, and I noticed it, but it didn't click until I saw the attract screen play and noticed there was a 5000 point gain.

You got lucky! I had three lives left on the 4th loop and instead of burning two of them farming dragons on the second floor, I played through and lost two of them on the fourth floor getting swarmed by moths. I was lucky that I made it throught the level on my last life or I wouldn't have even hit the million point mark.

I tried to time my punches on the magician instead of mashing the button and left too much time between the last punch , going onto that floor with no lives was nerveracking

If I would've just point racked dragons with my two extra lives I probably would've passed your score, but I didn't want to go into the fourth floor with the turbo moths on my last life since since I needed to finish the 4th loop out anyway to roll the score.
