WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

port's collection was amazing (is amazing). didnt that dude marry a gaming geek like himself, so they combined their collections into an even bigger one? "super twin powers, activate!"

speaking of him, he hasnt been around in a while. he was a party pooper and seemed like he was an angry old man, but i did like seeing and hearing about all the stuff he had! i guess that's what dream is for on this site!

edit: i was only speaking about the amount of stuff dream has, not that he is a grumpy old man! just wanted to clear that up before someone reads it! haha

-------------------------

Look, if you don't like the things that I post, don't PM me about it and don't start a war in a thread. Just FOE ME so you don't have to read my posts! That's why Dain put it there! Use it!!!

Yeah that's a pretty bad tear. Not sure how many collectors would want that one.

Doesn't that SMB look kinda resealed? The seal just looks way too rough and the material of the plastic looks different. I could be wrong though.

This is going to start happening more. Buyers that either dont know the market, or more accurately, don't care.

Who the hell paid that for that crappy Link to the Past ? In a nice condition, I would understand the price, but the box looks like if someone sat on it.

yeah, that's probably what some people were thinking since it has the 'step-seam' thing going on.   From the pics I would actually say its legit though.

Thats funny about that smb1 with the tear. I picked one up last year at a yard sale for .50 and sold it for the exact same price. I'm glad it had a tear though cuz if I would have sold it for $150 without a tear and that other one got $2500, I would have punched this damn laptop.

Well you don't know market values then   I won that copy and am planning on trading/selling it.  It's worth more than what I paid, even in less than mint condition.

Near mint conditioned Zelda LttPs were selling for $200-300ish a year ago if I recall correctly.

No way in hell I'd give over $100 for a damaged sealed copy.

You may have a general idea of your market...but I believe the market audience for that damaged copy is far less than a mint one.

I regularly buy up Factory Sealed Zelda games and saw this too when it was listed and didn't even think twice about NOT watching it.  Usually, factory sealed collectors buy a factory sealed game because it is expected to be in mint condition...thats the case for me anyways.  Maybe you can pop that dent out...but I was more concerned with the obvious depression on the back as seen in the 'wavy' game descrition.

That said, I wish you luck on turning a dime.

You and me both brother...but I'm going to hold out for that mint one that will likely require a large sum of money.

*EDIT*

Just saw your 'room of doom' and am thoroughly impressed.  Are you a bachelor?  Or, how much trouble did your wife give you over that?

Thanks man. It was a lot of work.

I am married and it was no trouble at all. We built a new home and I picked out the layout and organized the construciton aspects and she did most of the design. My wife loves to play video games (ever since we met) because her parents wouldn't let her play them growing up. So its fun to play games like Super Mario World and stuff over with her. She is learning how to swear at the TV really well.

nah, she is alergic to wheat so she couldn't drink more than a few sips of beer if she wanted to.

She slams the occasional Jager Bomb though.

Her and her girlfriends play Dr.Mario on SNES and play loser has to take a shot of vodka. I come home and find drunk yelling women hitting eachother and swearing in anger. I should really video tape that shit now that I think of it.
