Question, I plan to play Chrono Trigger this year, but I was going to play the DS version. Does that count for this since I believe it is basically unchanged?

I don't think we can count the DS game

If you don't own a copy for SNES feel free to emulate it though!

Brainlord is great! I beat it last year for the first time. It was a blast. I highly recommend it. But I like games that make you think a little. If that interests you, I'd definitely give it a go

Ok I'll try to pick up a copy. Unfortunately nobody on NA seems to sell anything any more.

Castlevania: Dracula X completed. I've beat this like 12 times and this was the first time I found out about the key item crash. Kinda useless, but neat none the less.

I beat Steel Talons. Or at least, I beat all the stages but there is no ending or anything like that. It just takes you to an "expert" stage which infinitely loops with no end.

How was that game? I was thinking about giving it a go the other day.

It's got polygonal graphics, gets frame lags like you wouldn't believe, and the music is awful.  However, it is very ambitious for the SNES.
Overall I'd say 3/10

I would recommend jungle strike, or urban strike instead of steel talons.

Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow is knocked off the list.

Fun little platformer. Had a good time with this one.

I'm surprised that nobody has taken down a lot of the fun games yet, like metroid or castlevania IV, or chrono trigger

Do any of you guys have a recommendation for a high quality wireless SNES controller? I've looked around at some on amazon but they all have terrible reviews for their D-pads

The only one I've used were the Akklaim ones and they were awful. Stay away from those. If there is a high quality one though,I'd definitely be interested as well!

I've briefly looked at the messiah ones, which are supposed to be good but they use a circle D-pad, and they are incredibly expensive and difficult to find...
