Interesting that you don't have f-1 pole position, steel talons, street racer or air cavalry, all games with low-mid rarity ratings that (it always seems like) many people lack who are well into their collections. I've long thought that the rarity rankings on here aren't correct for some titles in the 3-6 range in particular. I know I've personally never seen any of those games out and about.

Anyways, if you've got trade bait I've got some carts you're missing from your collection tool on here, btw.

Grats on the milestone!

The problem is at that point I could buy a game like Metal Warriors for the amount I'd be spending. So doing another set is low priority at the moment

Plus you gotta love the irony of spending $4-5 on a case for a $1-2 game.

And you start to create space issues since the case is so much bigger than a loose cart.  I have long-term plans for an addition to our house that has a wall of built-in shelving, but that is pretty far out
Dude you ain't kidding about space issues.  I've got a whole bunch of UGC's and nowhere to display all of them because they leave such a large footprint.

I've went the horizontal route for my games as it matches the original artwork.  That said, vertical works better for the OCD in most of us haha!

If you do end up looking into having the printing done for the SNES library, I'd be curious to know what that would run.

Great post. Love the detail you put into your post. I'm at 539 currently, and can definitely attest to the ups and downs of going for a complete set. Have to say though, I'm happy to be almost 3/4s of the way there.

Best of luck!

I was also sad to see you put Top Gear as "worst value", even if you were referring solely to price. I love Top Gear!

Heh, yeah, that was the best I came up with.  I have not had too many regretable purchases so losing a few dollars was it

Worst value for gameplay to worth is for sure Bronkie the Bronchiasaurus though.

Nice to see your collection at last! Why was WCW SuperBrawl your strangest Craigslist experience?

Congrats again on hitting 500!

PS- be glad Fatal Fury continues to elude you

I have Street Racer, but I've never seen any of those titles in the wild.  I also regularly put out a massive number of low bids on small auctions just to see what I get and only recall doing that with Steel Talons.  The rarity scores on here need a lot of work

The couple I bought it from.  Pretty sure they were both packing, as if someone was going to rob them of their wrestling and football games

F-1 Pole Position is a sneaky rare, I'm telling ya! Dirt cheap racing game that simply never turns up.

Such an amazing game! That was I think the first SNES game I bought for my collection that wasn't a nostalgia pickup. As soon as I saw it compared to Knights Of The Round in reviews I knew I had to own it.

F1-pole position is an interesting beast... and I'm not surprised to see TKO boxing up in the 500's either.

Do you have Steel Talons or Relief Pitcher yet? Just curious.

I have Relief Pitcher. I've also had a hell of a time trying to play it. There's no info out there

What didn't you like about Combatribes? I find that one to be pretty fun, at least with a buddy to play it with. It's not the greatest beat 'em up out thereo n the SNES but it's pretty damn solid.

The boss fights are a frustrating mess in single player. And the extremely small scale of the levels is pretty underwhelming

Okay, you make two good points. Have you tried it with another player? I suppose when I am playing that sort of game with a friend I am more interested in a good time but if I were to play this one alone I would probably not dig it nearly as much. I wish all beat 'em ups were two player. Growl (Genesis) should be two player. Then it'd be a classic.

I'd love to. But playing these old games with others is usually reserved for certain parties I throw, and we only get to a handful of games each time

Tecmo Superbowl 2... have that one? I've got one with slight label damage I'd sell for cheap (cheaper then Ebay) if you needed it. Don't mind helping someone as far as you are along if I can!
