famicom smb3 prototype cart flouting around?

Just curious,
does any one know if theres a famicom prototype with this build or a similar build of smb3 flouting around?

Some of the lost para-beetle levels are still in the game, and can be played via hacks.


But no, these screens came directly from NoJ, it is unlikely an actual cart was given to the maker of this program.

I think I read before that some of the still screenshots are probably mockups due to Mario's position not always matching up with the camera position in-game, but then again who knows if the camera system was adjusted from the proto to final.

There's a higher quality shot of the one screen in the video tho that's almost identical to the blurry, over-saturated version altho the numbers on the HUD are completely different.

That might help to imply that those shots really are mockups. As far as playing the parabeetle level, I'm not sure I'm familiar with how to do that, altho TCRF does document a similar looking unused level but as far as I know doesn't include the parabeetles.

Mario's position isn't relevant if the stage forces auto-scroll (the only remaining para beetle stage in the game is an auto-scroll stage).
