Dude, you can't even be original, sounds exactly like what I said about you.

That's the same expression given at his birth. It's like you were there!

It was immediately followed by the flush of a toilet.

Ahahahahahhahaahahahahahhaa

My customers at the BK drive through even enjoyed that one!

Maybe if you didn't call out of work today, you could make your own. Again, what do you do for a living? Too afraid to speak up, or are you still trying to figure out how to google a respectable job title to win an argument?

All I know is that this Action 52 "prototype" is worth nowhere near the Stadium Events prototype that I unknowingly traded to !damage! a while back. I am still kicking myself for that one.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

This can't be locked, it's great theater. It's so good, I can't even tell who the actors are. Skyler went from sarcastic face to full-throttled heel about halfway through the thread. Backstreet Boy created his account a few years ago, and makes his triumphant debut to start it all. We even got an appearance from Dain McMahon. We've gone from McDonalds to Burger King; happy to sad, back to happy, back to sad, then mostly just confused; we've had passionate advocacy on behalf of both the rich and the poor, the virtuous and the hobbywarts; soon we will have a handicap match with all of the Nolan's protos in one corner and an Action 52 "sampletype" in the other. I feel like we've all lived an entire lifetime together in the span of only a tenday or so, and I'd like to think we're all the better for it. That's the world I want to live in. I want to stuff my face between its thighs, until Death takes me. Yes, we can!

so... it says sample, have instructions, box, and anything that looks like a sample (nowdays "not for resale" cart) and they are calling it a proto just because?

I got lost there... that, for me, is not a proto, it's more like a sample for magazines, markets or something else...

seems really complete to me

and I read all, pretty strange thread x)

Some/many still consider builds of games sent to press or shops for review to be prototypes. Some can still differ from the final retail release. Prototype doesn't always mean an internal use development cartridge/PCB/disc.

Exactly. Here is my other pride and joy, it says sample but it is still considered a prototype by many. I could never sell this one as I feel it has more value than my A52 proto. I think this was also sent to press or shops for review as well, I could be wrong though. All I am certain of is its large value in $$$.

What is everybody basing these prices on? Did that action 52 sample or whatever sell for that price, or is it speculation?

So Zelda sells for $55,000 at a record price, how is this worth more?

or

or

should I go on ? If you did, your collection would be worth a LOT more, add an Action 52 Prototype for only $100k and complete your collection.

SB2K

Hope I didn't offend anyone and I will add a so it is clear to all.

I was digging through some very old documents that I have accumulated over the years. I wanted to finally put this to rest and show you all proof (ha like that is gonna make a difference). Unfortunately due to certain parties involved, I can't show you the full documents but if you don't take my word for it you can ask a guy called Dain Anderson, I hear he has some sort of connection to this forum. Also Holy-Snes can vouch for me (the docs, not my sanity).

First up, Mogen32, awesome score. It is no surprise to me at all that this was found in France. Vince Perri, Greg Pabich, SB2K, I love your work.

Dra600n, I am sorry. Nolans, I am not worthy. Dain, thanks for not banning me yet.

Now, I am going to be doing myself out of a potential 100k but here goes...

These were given out as "samples" to interested parties. The goal of this was to get distributors on board for other countries/regions. There is also a press kit with all sorts of lovely info inside, those awesome "sample" labels, upcoming products, adverts, oh and something about a game called Cheetahmen 3.

There are definitely more than 4 of these samples out there. I would glady take 100k btw

That's for sure! HA!

I was getting worried seeing people mistake your sarcasm for criticism :/
On a serious note though, that is some awesome bit of info and glad you posted it. The theories on what these A52 proto/samples ARE exactly can now be put to rest
