Well, here's the tip: if it uses tubes, someone will want it. The above Sansui is 1964, their last tube one was 1965. Their first transistor one (the one I use) was 1967. So that kind of gives you an idea of when all the brands switched over.
No one saw it coming at the time (the switch to transistors). Tubes DO sound better and use REAL power, but they're a bitch to maintain, etc. I just shipped that bitch to Australia - that gives you an idea of the demand! It didn't even work right and went for $400, haha.
Anyway: someone buy all of my games!!
