Okay, so I'm guessing most of us have heard at one point or another the rumor that Gametek had planned on releasing The Price is Right and Super Password (perhaps even a talking edition much like Super Jeopardy)...but for one reason or another, it never came to be.  DreamTR on the nes world forum claims to have a harlem globetrotters Proto with Super password crossed out.  Does anyone know if proto's or test screens were ever made, and who may own these wonders?? If so, we need to initiate making The price is Right into a homebrew..because it is without question the most badass gameshow ever made (and I really want to play all the mini-games on my nes)...Here's what I gathered so far...

  • They are gonna release a Price is right game for the next gen systems Available now on Wii and DS (about time they made a PIR Game IMO)
  • DreamTR may have a proto that might have almost been a talking super password proto
  • Thats about it...WE NEED THIS GAME!!!

^ hopefully it would have been done better than the minigames/physical challenges in Double Dare, that adaptation left a lot to be desired.

If you miss Olmec, just watch any cartoon or play any video game released in the past decade

Yep iirc I recognized his voice from something else when I was a kid (forget what other show) and scoured the credits each time they rolled, but all they ever said was Announcer: Dee Baker / Olmec: Himself. So I kinda figured they were one in the same, but anyways that's why I remembered his name.

Huh, that's pretty cool. The only big revelation I ever had with voice actors was realizing that Starscream and Cobra Commander were the same guy.

^ the other big one I had was the guy that did Raphael in TMNT did a voice in like every cartoon EVER. He's also the voice of "Mr. Opportunity" in the Honda commercials, and like 100's of other commercials.

Quick lookup: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm066732...
And he's got an even longer resume, as I suspected
