Real bidding was suspended somewhere around $10k.  The last $790k have been an ongoing joke.

ive been looking at this since it was put up and 2 things strike me as wrong (aside from the already mentioned problems blurry pics, no h seam, new hangtab), something about the box coloring/texture doesnt look quite right, could be the red background throwing me off.

but the main thing is the bottom of the box at the front. its not straight across, it kinda rounds. so this could be 2 different things. if it is a legit box then it was probably pressed up against something for a long period of time. or if the box is not legit, when they printed it off it wasnt folded straight. this could probably be cleared up if there were pics of the top/bottom.

and reading comments all over the internet about people actually trying to counterfeit the box, i wouldnt put it past someone to have already done it

It's too bad this has gone the way it has (funny or not). Someone could have potentially had themselves an SE box, even if the seal is fake.

The color looks way off to me, this is just hilarious that its going up this high and ebay isn't doing a thing about it. I bet the guy pulls it soon to stop the fees from rolling in.

I'd hate to see counterfeit boxes out there. I could be easily done. But I think upon inspection it'd take a lot of hardwork and machinery to get it done correctly. It'd be expensive or require a ton of patience. I'd imagine a scammer not being about to sit down for that long before wanting to cash in. Upon receiving it, I think it'd be very noticeable, especially with some suspicion.

We all need a good laugh once in awhile.  Whoever really needs the box will have another shot when it gets relisted, or they'll badger the seller until they get an offer accepted.

well its at 800k now, and there was a bid retraction from 800,300 to 800,200. im sure the person who has the high bid is obviously pushin out some bacongrease here.

This whole auction is fake At least now those boxes of sealed SE's are even more likely to start coming if the common man sees the auction at at $1,000,000 and actually believes it will be paid off.

ahahah, i didnt even see it jump to 900,000. just up to 800,300 and then back down. maybe thats a clue towards how that got so beefcaked.
