Wow, can't believe this is here!  Super special thanks goes to i2a2n2 for suggesting this place from the get go, and thanks to Dain and everyone who voted to make this place happen.

Let's make this place an amazing resource from everything that almost was

Looks like you're the first "Protoculturalist" BTW, anyone know what show that came from?

Ya i feel this is a really good idea to have this section.I don't collect protos but am very interested in stuff like that and i think alot of ppl will learn alot from the talk and knowledge from the heavy hitters that are into protos on this site.

Cool beans. Now I just need to find a proto, so I'll have something worthwhile to add.

As I said in the the voting thread, I'm excited about this section as well. I'm not a proto collector, but the stuff fascinates me, and I'm eager to see what pops up here.

Very cool! As with some of you, I don't own any protos, but I do find them really interesting. I'll be checking out this section quite a bit.

To be honest, I voted no just because I don't think it will get much use overall, but I do hope that I am incorrect on my assumption.

Perhaps someone should move the community released proto threads up in here.

I'm sure there are quite a few other past threads that belong here too. Just a thought... not sure if that would screw anything up as far as existing links to these threads from other sites and whatnot? If so, nevermind. I know there was plenty of press from the MTIPP release, for instance.

I was thinking the same thing. . .

Mark and I took a hiatus from our monthly prototype releases, but we plan on picking that back up shorty now that we have this new sub-forum.  We hope to make the next one a little extra special, but no promises just yet. . .

Also, any updates on our team's new releases will be posted here as well.  Namely Kitty's Catch.

I would love to see some things shuffled over this way, but if they don't we can always start from scratch.

Maybe my ongoing proto thread in the Collector's Corner should be moved here.
