Here's my score. I'll go ahead and submit it for the participation point, because I don't think I can bring myself to play this game again. I just don't like it. I've never been so bored with a falling block game before.

That gets crazy the higher you get.  All of a sudden 3 pieces were dropping at once, all the time!

It's definitely not my favorite puzzle game,but it's not that bad. It's just weird how Nintendo made several Mario franchise related puzzle games towards the end of the lifespan of the NES. (Yoshi,Yoshi's Cookie,Wario's Woods)

Really?  Some people find it repetitive but i love it. Although the luck factor is a little high.

Why does this game have 3 different names?

yoshi in USA
mario & yoshi in Europe (best boxart)
and yoshi's egg in Japan ( best name)

The luck factor definitely plays into it for me. I also feel way too cramped on the playing field, but at the same time the game is a little too slow to accommodate anything taller.

I definitely understand the cramped aspect of it. Maybe they should have made the playfield bigger or the characters smaller.

Hehehe, I wish I could, but these kind of puzzle games are my weakness, so I wouldn't bet on it

I played 2 games Yesterday and my best was something like 3,400ish IIRC.

I'm surprised I got the score I did. It gets pretty tough when things start speeding up....especially when it takes some time to switch everything around where you need it.

Nice score

Try to put different monsters on a bottom egg part and close it with a top egg part. Put 7 monsters in and you're good for 500 points

Tried to up my score last night but every good run would get blown up simply because I wouldn't get any top eggshell pieces I needed before the playfield filled up.
