I got one of two runs left in me. I'm pretty positive I can break 200k. This game isn't that hard to do the high point did really on. I restart alot within the first 5 levels if I mess up my traps but otherwise it's not so bad. Just relax and enjoy yourselves.

Ehhh I think I'm done with this one. I like this game and I'm not bashing it when I say its extremely frustrating, because it is, but I kinda think thats what the devs were going for, so that makes the game good. I want the win but I have one this year so mdb can have it, it's not worth the stress. But then again whos to say mdb will still get it. See you all in the tourney

I do like the fact the game has so many music tracks, and completed backgrounds look like shitty trapper keep covers. 

And we are on the final day of the contest, then 2 weeks for the tournament.

I don't think i'm going to make the cut for the finals this year and even if i rank up enough i doubt i participated enough this year to be allowed to enter. that being said besides the usual championship belt and maybe a trading card, I'll be gifting the grand prize winner a custom painting. what does that mean for the rest of you? well shit i have no clue, but i do know i have a handful more boxes of mario cereal sitting in my pantry...... hrmmmmm

i ate a box of that mario cereal, i think it's all made of sweetened cardboard.

Mario cereal isn't bad. It's basically just Lucky Charms.

i did feel like a complete tool holding that box against my switch controller.

It's a solid arcade port. It's good for what it is. I don't hate it. I wouldn't put that much effort into a game that I actually dislike. I played one game of boring Bandai Golf and I was done.

That doesn't mean that it's not infuriating however.


 

I'm still amazed that you manage such good scores on these games. Seriously, it's impressive.

A couple people were getting over 400k in the previous Qix contests. Not that blows my mind.
 

I remember seeing some people cut out the chip and turn those world of Nintendo figurines into custom amiibos for it

Fair: Dr. Mario, Mach Rider, Sky Shark, Loopz, Ski or Die

Shitty: The Mutant Virus, Soccer, Bandai Golf, Ikari Warriors

This is a solid course of action. I am going to drink to this!
And update the scores before I pass out drunk after a second shot of rum.

Too frustrating, couldn't get any higher than 82K-83K over all attempts. This is only the second game I've skipped in five years of playing in these contests. I don't feel bad about that at all.  

I'll be interested in seeing what difficulty rating Qix gets when it comes time to beat it for your blog.
