Hey guys!
This weeks game is Rush N Attack!!!!
There has to be some kind of rule for point racking since this game the enemies just keep on respawning,
But anyway heres the rules:
  • 1 life only
  • 1 player only
  • Participation: 15,000
Ends next sunday at 9 PM central time!!!!
MUST HAVE YOUR NAME IN THE PICTURE FOR THE SCORE TO COUNT

Thanks everyone!!

( P.S Still need prizes for donations )

I'd say just keep moving forward is the rule. no standing around to rack points.

edits: to clarify, turning around to get that guy who's coming up behind you, or picking a position to knife that guy coming up the ladder is fine. just no standing around like you're lost waiting for someone to show up.

arrrrrr, this will be fun but tough...grrrr

76,000    and that is no camping and running straight through. If I play again I'll probably be able to get through the third level as well

I'm debating taking a shot at this.

I'm curious since it wasn't explicit with the 'rules and leaderboard' threads I'm curious. To get those prizes for competing, how far up the roster do you have to be? Is it like the top 10 people in a year, 20, participation awards? I'm just asking because I mean I got a few points on Kung Fu, but it's also just about October so even if I could(and I wouldn't) make 1st on everything through years end could someone like me even qualify or is it really just for the fun of it at this pace and best to start out fresh in a new year?

I think Jeremy (nesruler22) wants to give out prizes for the top 9 finishers on the leaderboard at the end of the year.  Keep competing every week, and before you know it, you'll be climbing the leaderboard.  Most of the people on there don't compete anymore or regularly.  There's probably only about 5 or 6 regular competitors and a handful who compete every once in a while.

Hmm so really even those who start with 3mo left still have a sliver at a chance at one of the lower tier items looking at the existing spread, but the 4-5ish or whoever that stick consistently will be in a fight against each other for the gold essentially. Seems sort of doable I guess when you do it that way even this late in the game which is nice news.

Like Kung Fu, I own this game, but unlike KF I never really got good at it or ever finished it.

Yeah, you definitely have a chance to get into the top nine.  If you consistently finish in the top 5 for each contest, then you can climb the leaderboard really fast.

EDIT: Got most of the way through stage 3 before dying.

EDIT: Got to the beginning of the 3rd stage, but died almost right away from a stupid move I made.

Wow, I can't believe I'm the first one to post a score this late in the week.  Anyway, not a bad first attempt.  Haven't had much time to play Rush n' Attack this week, so hopefully I'll get another chance before the contest ends on Sunday.

I've been playing, just haven't gotten around to posting. here's my best score so far.

also, this is what's I'm playing with. anyone else use one of these? I picked it up a couple weeks ago and I'm still getting used to it, but I like it. I find the button action much better than the Advantage and being wireless is cool (works better than expected!). The only real downside is the stick has a really long throw, so I'm getting used to the "sweet spot" where the stick registers without moving it all the way out.

I'm pretty sure ladders are the most treacherous thing in this game.

This would've been fun, even though I'm terrible at this game. I can with great difficulty make it as far as the last stage, but most of the time not. Without dying, maybe halfway through the game. The Up to jump is what makes this game so darn hard for me, its frustrating, pissed me off quite a bit, but yet somehow I kept going back to the game.

You and I are in the same boat on this one. Best I can do since I haven't touched it in too many years is mid/late stage2 on a single life, long ago perhaps end of 3 into 4 but not now. Like you the UP for jump makes it harder than it should be.

No matter the prizes, people like to compete each week in the contest

Maybe you should give something else than prizes? I had an idea I wanted to share with you and Dain.
Maybe we should simply give a special icon to the top five rank of the year, or something like that.
