Bump for an update. Looks minor, but it was pretty major for me from a coding standpoint. I updated the original post with a new video.

I added a new mechanic to the collision and movement code. Check the OP for details and a video!

Getting a vibe like NES The Immortal. Watch that game's demo loop if you need some inspiration.   Really impressive sprite animation for the NES.

I'm studying 2 games on the system, The Immoral and Solstice. I'm taking a few ideas from each of them as well as adding my own content. Both games are awesome examples of what can be done on the NES in Isometric view.

That's looking great man! I'm digging the influences you choose (I'm a huge fan of Solstice).

Hey everyone! I have a HUGE update on this project. We are welcoming FrankenGraphics to the team to do the graphics. We are very excited about this addition to the project and would love to share 2 drawings that have already been mocked up!

So please, join us in welcoming FrankenGraphics to the project! I can't wait to get these worked into the game!

FrankenGraphics has absolutely been killing it in the graphics scene lately, I am seeing the name EVERYWHERE, in so many titles! Looks great, can't wait to see even more updates about the game's progress.

FrankenGraphics is exploding on to the scene! I'm glad I was able to get them aboard this project considering I'm not a seasoned vet at programming.
