Picked up 8-bit X-mas and Battle Kid. Can't wait!

Bummer, it was in stock for at least 2 weeks... hopefully it'll come around again.

DK Pie factory was available for months prior to a few days ago. You had plenty of chances to get it if you missed. A lot of other repro makers have picked up on this title though so you are still covered.

The hard part about selling repros is that people think they'll always be there or have the chance to buy them. Then as soon as its gone, they're ready to buy.

Yeah I have learned to be hyper aware when it comes to RetroUSB stock updates. It's just the way you need to be if you want the games. I also keep a couple hundred dollars set aside in case he adds a few games I've been waiting for. Just another part of the hobby

I actually sent retrousbsupport an email not long ago and asked about the status of the unavailable homebrews. I got a response saying that they were waiting for some parts and most of what is on the homebrew page should be available shortly. I've placed several orders with them and the best advice I can give to people buying from the site is be patient and check this thread often.

I really want one of those SNES PP, but am afraid that I would sell my entire collection or never touch it again if I ever bought one. Also looking for BK 2.

I've got NES PowerPak and SNES Everdrive. No offense to Brian, but the PowerPak saving system is clunky and prone to failure. With the Everdrives you don't have to worry about creating save files for every game or hitting reset. It's all automatic.

The NES PowerPak is still a great piece of tech since it's got Game Genie support, optional 3rd party save state mappers, and most NES games don't use saves anyway.

Clunky yes, but I have never had it fail. Only fail would be caused by user error.

Just want to chime in on the NES/SNES USB RetroKit. Did two SNES controllers and both work like a charm. Following the guide (and the instructional video) was very informative.

Good work RetroZone!

Sweet. I still prefer the USB adapters so I can still use my controllers on real hardware if i choose.

Can we pretty please get another run of RetroVision sometime this decade?

Our Heaven, and our Hell.
This, is Outer Heaven.

While I do too, I figured someone must have had some broken SNES controllers with the cords split or or too damaged to play.  This was a perfect opportunity for me to try out my solder skills on a controller.  Needless to say, they work perfectly now.

Not to mention I have about 6 SNES controllers that are still in great condition.  No idea why I have 6, except for backups...

^^this. It had an ETA of "1 to 2 weeks" back last summer before Brian shut his site down, so I know the phantom bug must have been fixed. Please rerelease this, thanks!
