Oh damn you...  I'm just uploading the ending to youtube right now..

If you have any GBA signage or kiosk I would be interested. Please send me a PM because I'm only here about once a month now but I'm still VERY interested in large system signage or small playable kiosks related to the GBA.

Ha, I could care less if I get credit for it. This list gets me playing games I've never tried before.

I'm half kidding that last section with the doughnut of doom was pretty frustrating to me.  my end time was 6:48 PM (central) according to the timestamp on my video.  so you may have gotten it first.

lol, no sir.  It was actually one of the best runs I've ever had on the game.  Hardly took any damage.  I almost was going to record my gameplay footage, but changed my mind.  Wish I had recorded it now.  Oh well.

I beat John Elway's Quarterback and Xenophobe tonight. For Elway, all you can do is win a single game. So I did that with Chicago over New York, 37-7. Not that the teams matter, they're all the exact same. For Xenophobe, there's only 8 stages that repeat, so I got through that despite the intense boredom of killing the same 5 or 6 monsters over and over.

Don't worry, I got it.

I just beat WWF King of the Ring. I beat the king of the ring mode, which shows the credits. I watched a video and apparently you can also get the credits from the normal one player mode, but it's the exact same thing so I consider what I did to be enough.

I also played it on easy. As long as you play the full game, it shouldn't matter what difficulty we play on. I say "full game" because some games like Double Dragon 2 don't let you play the full game on a lower difficulty.

Anyway, I was wondering how Hillsfar was going to be tracked.  I personally track it as a per-scenario thing, because the scenarios all play out differently, and have different ending blurbs, but the game is pretty much the same regardless of scenario.  I ran it as 4 different listings, but it could be considered as just a single one.  I'm probably the only person that actually doesn't mind the game that much, but I'd rather only have to play the two scenarios I need for my own list than to have to play all 4 of them, and I'm not sure anyone else has the stones to tackle it

From what I read, I'd say beating it as any one of the four characters would be enough.

For King of the Ring, I still considered beating both branches as required.  Really, it only takes a half hour or so tops, so it shouldn't be a big deal.  I personally did it on hard because, well, it's the only way I play it (got good over the years, had it as a kid), but I agree about the difficulty only mattering if it affects either the gameplay or the ending (or if it's a game made for 3 year olds).  It's your baby, so do what you will, but I wouldn't feel right about it if I beat it without beating both modes.  It'd be like beating Sesame Street 1-2-3 on Astro Grover, but not playing Ernie's Magic Shapes.  Speaking of which, I beat Sesame Street 1-2-3 tonight, more to keep my streak of new completions in the new year alive than anything.  Wasn't feeling much like anything else today

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

I'm down with that.  I've got two characters left to beat, and since the Thief one is driving me bonkers, I'll probably run through the other class one day.  Takes 2 hours to beat, give or take, so I'll do it either when I get home from work either tomorrow or Friday, or I'll do it on the weekend.
