Anyone know the price on this. I'll be posting pics later tomorrow, but it looks authentic to my untrained eyes. Doesn't look to have any tears in the plastic or anything either.

Which label variant? Just regular old black label, no kmart or target or masterquest or metroid?

Thought I wrote that my brain isn't working too well today. It's Player's choice.

If its a legit seal then its worth roughly $60-70 as player's choice! Hope that helps.

I reference www.vgpc.com... a lot of common stuff. Good luck!

So it being not for resale doesn't add anything to the price?

For this particular title and variant the NFR doesn't add much value since it is so common. Almost like the Sonic the Hedgehod NFR for Genesis. Its practically the most common version.

If I needed it for my collection (which I do...sorta), and it indeed was in great shape, I'd be in the market for it at about $80.

If you are in the market for it, I'd sell it to you for $80 + shipping. LMK cuz I'm putting it up on Amazon tonight.

Uhh I think saying that Zelda game sealed is underrating it perhaps at $60-70. Unless that ugly yellow banner up top is that much of a buzz kill to buyers because during Dec/Jan the normal WW (no special edition or Kmart logo junk) complete in box in a like new shape could pull $60-70 on ebay.

That's true, tho the price on it has dropped back down again.

At any rate, I can get almost $100 on Amazon, so I tossed it up on there. It's kinda funny tho, if the not for resale is so common, why is this the first one I've gotten, and why is there only one on Ebay right now? I guess I can see the logic of why this should be more common sealed, but... I'm not seeing it being borne out, at least on Ebay.

Unfortunately any game that comes bundled with the Gamecube I believe comes labeled as NFR.  This applies to Smash Bros, Mario Kart etc.  These types of NFR's aren't horribly uncommon (such as the kiosk NFRs), however, the special Combos of course fetch a premium (WW/MQ & WW/Metroid).  I'd consider this just a slight case variation at most.  I'm sure it will sell on Amazon for that nice price though .

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I just don't see them nearly as often as I see the regular versions of any of those games. I've come across a couple Mario Kart ones, and they do sell for more than the regular version even tho it's just a case variant. I'm a little surprised the same isn't true of Wind Waker.

I think what hurts the value on this one is the fact that's it's Player's Choice and it's just a pack-in NFR. However, I do think it is uncommon to find this one sealed. Most people that bought this bundle were probably not collectors and opened them up. I agree with the $80 above.

Yeah, I can certainly see that. It's just weird that I don't see these more often. In fact, just based on my totally scientific "when I'm out and looking for this game" I don't see the Player's Choice version nearly as much as the original one. I know people don't like Player's Choice as well, but I have to think in some cases, the Player's choice (or Greatest hits or whatever) is going to be the rarer version only b/c everyone who wanted a copy got the first release already.

Not sure why you'd say that. I just sold this Wind Waker on there for $113 + shipping, which leaves me at around $95 after fees. I generally get more money for stuff on Amazon as I do on Ebay and the buyers don't tend to be as picky about condition (tho you can jack the price up on some stuff when you have something in nice shape, Gameboy/Color/Advance systems w/ the battery covers for instance). And Amazon gave me a $1000 loan recently as well. So I think all in all, I really like Amazon, knock on wood.

It's not like most GameCubes came bundled with it or anything -- so you did great!

Yeah one of these sold on ebay completed players choice sealed for 115 i believe so yeah nice job selling it on amazon for that. I thought 60-70 estimate was kinda low. Gamecube stuff is on the rise right now. Even luigis mansion is a 30+ game now.

Yeah, if you are paying the $40 a month for the premium seller deal (dunno what it's called), and you ... actually, I have no idea what criterea they use to determine who they give loans to. It's supposed to be so you can grow your Amazon store (by buying inventory I guess). I used it to pay rent, LOL.
