Thanks for the PM, Chilant. They look good from your pic.

I'll order in the future, no doubt. Thanks.

What are the "must-haves" for SNES repros? Never played any before. Thanks!

IMO, that would be English translated RPGs and text heavy games never released in North America. Games like:

Star Ocean
Clock Tower
Terranigma
Secret of Mana 2
Gunman's Proof

If you're a Zelda fan, BS Zelda is a good 16-bit remake by Nintendo of the original Legend of Zelda.

My son... gives me Helpful Nintendo Hints that are far too complex for the adult mind to comprehend. Here's a verbatim example: "OK, there's Ganon and miniature Ganon and there's these things like jelly beans and the miniature Ganon is more powerfuller, because when you touch him the flying eagles come down and the octopus shoots red rocks and the swamp takes longer." And the hell of it is, I know he's right. - Dave Barry

Anyone have experience with the various super metroid hacks? If you only had to pick one, which do you think is best?

does the cartridge save on these? I know using the rom on a Super Everdrive has issues :-/

All the hacks derived from Super Metroid are pretty good. Redesign would be my choice if I could only pick one.

The original game was streamed as 4 separate 1 hour events. I don't think the game has a save feature.

Will Ancient Stone Tablets use dip switches or will it use the reset button to cycle through?

I vote for dip switches (If I had a vote)

As of now it's through reset, but if enough people want it, I could do it with dip switches.

It just seems more reliable to me. Set the switch and boot the game, rather than keep hitting reset until you get to the segment you want to play.

I would probably buy it if it had the dip switches

Physical NES Carts 586

Physical NES games owned -- Super Mario/Duck Hunt

I hunt "wild only". I find a lot of SMBDH carts.

I can vouch for the quality of these repros as I just received a number of them.  I really like the labels that Chilant uses, and they are all clean and work perfectly.  Thanks, Chilant!
