I already bought the millerjm2 kit. All that's missing is the cart.

After seeing the EB0 you did, I'd be in for one!

I have a few of the famicom carts on order from overseas, working on the label art currently and then I can put them in a normal cart with a fami adapter.

Im really curious to see those insides. If a 29f 2meg flash chip was used or a 27c160. Or even if the prg and chr data were separated to 1meg each

Yeah me too.  Just give me the blank cart no label or anything.

that's the great thing; everyone can have their own opinion
Your box, manual, label is more the style of the early FF artwork and that label is more the style of the PS1 FF7 artwork.

To me neither is better or worse, it's really just the individuals preference.

Awesome, thanks man. Looks like they changed the actual roms, but used a regular copy of the game.

Niice. How much did you pay for the English version? Did you find some people who were willing to chip in for a combined order at $150 a piece?

I'm in for a cart if it's $50 or under.  Or even better, if the patched Chinese ROM can somehow be made to work on the PowerPak or at least in NesterJ for the PSP, I'm TOTALLY in.

Theres a crap ton of work to go into converting the mapper to one thats easily found.

The other option is to track down a copy of the famicom title and solder on reprogramed roms.  Good luck tracking down an inexpensive copy lol.

And sadly, for both powerpaks and everdrives, there is a 512kb max on PRG and CHR so this game is fated not to run on it.  I think it may be the same issue for the NesterJ, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, the famicom originals are not cheap and then all the work involved in it....
I highly doubt you will see a copy go for less than $100

Why? That pin converter has a lockout chip on it. It should work on a toaster.

Oh I was under the impression that it wouldn't, I never tried it - only on my top loader.

Decided to paint my cart with a rubberized coating called plasti-dip because I like the way DarK Kobold did his.

I think It turned out pretty well.
