You know what, I remember renting, at a rental shop in the US, a cart labeled "Super Mario Bros. 4." That was just before Mario 3 came out, and I rented it together with a pirate Japanese Mario 3 cart. It was pretty cool back then to play Mario 3 before anybody else! Unfortunately, the Mario 4 cart would not work on my NES. I remember that it had dipswitches on it, maybe for NTSC/PAL - ?? I have always been awfully curious about what that cart had on it. I'm guessing it was just some kind of hack, but, uh, inquiring minds wanna know... or something. If anybody has one of these, I'd also be interested to find out what's on it.
