I just happened upon this thing for $4 today at the Goodwill and after seeing what it was, testing it to see it worked, and just in how amazing of shape it is for the age I grabbed it.  I've taken a pic of the unit, but I found an ebay auction that's open with more of it here: http://tinyurl.com/6nboyeb ...;   Mine has nearly not a scratch on it, book is intact with no stains and just minimal rub wear on the back cover spine area around the rings at the top mostly and bottom, it almost seems nearly new-ish.



Anyway, as you can see it's like some weird pocket(sorta) off shoot of Speak n Spell but I don't think it talks, haven't heard it speak yet and I know it's older and pretty rare.  3 are up on ebay but others have gone up and been bought for a few bucks or not.  I know it's probably some $10 item as far as there goes, perhaps it's worth more or less elsewhere but I was just really curious if anyone else had one of these before.  I've tried it a little as I had a 9volt lying around and it does play a wicked set of games with missle letter, mystery word, and a word scramble (if you get someone else to make one for you I don't think it does.)
