I love the entire series and RPGs, but it seems a bit chibi for me. Anyone play it and can say if it's any good? The battle system seems Rock Paper Scissors style.

I beat it this year. I took 21h28min to finish it.
I didn't check many videos before playing it so it was a great surprise.
The battle system is addictive. It's more about positioning your characters right than any kind of Rock Paper Scissors style.
After you position one of your characters you can select a few options. Two or three of those options are to attack with a melee attack, with a ki blast or with a special move (like a kamehameha).
Depending on the position of the attacking character the enemy will fly in one direction after the the hit lands and doing so you can create combos with other characters that you have nearby. If you the enemy flies into one of your characters he will receive more damage.

The fusion system is also very nice.
You have a looooot of characters to choose from to fusion.

The story is ok.
Nothing groundbreaking.

There's also a good deal of sidequests and if you decide to collect every character available, you will have a lot of playtime.

Overall, it's a pretty good game that I think deserves more attention.
