Completing that game AT ALL is incredibly difficult.

 

I've never even beaten that game. I don't like it though so I never have really tried.

So will the Hall of Famers be revealed one at a time or all at once?

Finally read today's interview. Awesome. Congrats to everyone. Is it a coincedence that the na hall of fame well is also wrestlemania and wwe hall of fame week?

Probably not as the contests have often used WWE references and whatnot.

That's the class I predicted. Congrats guys!

It wasn't easy Guts.
There was lots of back and forth... and math.

Whittling it down to 6 was hard enough.
Trying to omit some of the best players in history was nearly impossible.

There was also talk about just inducting all of you guys.
In the end though, the decision was to elect 4.

I'm sure this won't be the last time you or arnpoly will be featured as a finalist.
 

Wow, I'm honored! Congratulations to Bimmy, Tom and guillavoie as well! I was excited just to be a finalist, but to be named a Hall of Famer along with those guys is amazing! Thanks to Santa for doing this and everyone else that was involved. This was a great week and I can't wait to be a part of it next year!

It's going to be scorched earth this week! Having the fewest wins among the finalists really hurt my chances. Time to start playing harder so I can accrue more wins! 
 

Self analyzing here,but I think my lack of wins killed my chances. And I'm not sure how much me and Arnpoly being active hurt our chances. I don't believe that you should have to be retired to get in as that curtails participation and I think everyone would agree that more participation is better.

I think (at least for some) being active was actually something that HELPED your and arnpoly's case.
Other contestants would LOVE to take a shot at a Hall of Famer.

Active Hall of Famers would be a boon for the contests.
That was kind of an aside though.

Active/retirement is not part of the process this year, but that might change for next year.

I just wouldn't want to retire just for the sake of getting in. It's not like sports where you get to a point where you have to retire because you physically can't do it. Plus I just like playing in these contests...they are fun and I like competing against everyone.

I still checked the thread again as soon as I woke up this morning to make sure that I really got inducted just in case.  

Thanks buddy! I thought you had as good of a chance at getting in this year as I did, so I'm sure that you'll be at the top of the list for next year.

  After further review,the ruling on the field has changed...  

It is Tecmo Super Bowl week, so I guess it's possible!

Congrats to all the inductees, that's one hell of a HoF class. I'm sure guts and arnpoly will be considered at the very least for 2018.

Also, great job Santa and all involved on all the work you put in this week. The interviews were great and gave us more insight into the players we love to compete against and respect plus this felt like the big deal and honor that it should be.
