Ok guys, I need some help. I found this today at a local toy show and I knew it was probably too good to be true. I asked the seller about it and he said it was the "less rare second version". After some searching the Internet I could only find a NTSC 3 screw, NTSC 5 screw, and the PAL version. He looked up the game and proceeded to show me a picture of the PAL version and said "this is the one worth the money". So, he thought the PAL version cover was actually the NTSC version and the version he had was actually the PAL version. I kept looking and couldn't find any difference rarity wise on the 3 screw vs 5 screw (this is a 3 screw). I opened the cart because the screws were the flat head kind and the board had the nintendo on it. I had to try and take a chance on it for the price and the guy said I could bring it back if there's something wrong with it. What do you guys think? I know there should be a few people on here that could help.  Did I actually find a real copy of Stadium Events or did I find a really good fake?

I know I'm a new person here but I figured this was the best place to go to try and get a real answer.

EDIT: made a short video:

I have never seen such a knowledgeable first post in my life that needed help....
It's real assuming it's not photoshopped or using stolen pictures.

I guess I'm just staying skeptical in all this as it was one of those "it's too good to be true" things. I figured there were some people here with legit copies that would tell me what's up. I got it for a steal if it's all legit.

Yeah, I actually am in STL. I got it at a local toy show. Paid $120 for it which I was really nervous about but he said if I wasn't happy I could bring it back to him.

This makes me happy! Gives me hope that I may actually come across one at a fair price someday. I still believe there are lots of these carts in peoples basements who have no idea what they have and they will sell cheap when they finally see the light of day. Congratulations on an epic score!!

Wow, congrats. Gives some other people out there hope. Were you there right when they opened, can't imagine an SE at $120 lasting that long. First NES collector to see it would have taken that gamble if the guy said he'd accept a return.

It's a monthly show and from what I've heard it had been there for the last couple of shows. I know at least a few other collector's looked at it and either accepted it was a PAL version (which is what the seller was telling everyone) or didn't know enough about it to make a move on it. It was just mixed in with a bunch of other NES carts. Even I was skeptical buying it just because of how "too good to be true" it was. But the sticker looked good and it was a real Nintendo board (I didn't know all the other markings for the board at the time) so I gambled.
