I don't know what to say. My dad passed away in late 2014 and I cried for two weeks. I hope you're okay, man.

I don't think I need it to secure my spot, but I posted a score update on page whatever it is anyway... Good competition this week. I feel okay about my 1943 performance considering I had only played it in the arcade when I was a kid.

Richard reminded me that while I get to spend a lot of time with my family as it is, I should probably go do that now. I'll check in later to see which game / group I'm playing in!

Never did break a million with all my lives but I had three runs in the 900K's this week.

The contest has taken a sharp turn to the serious and sad, but congrats to everyone who advanced to the next round. Great score, Red. I'm a big fan of Kung Fu, but I've never come close to that even using all my lives.

My best before this week was around 400K. I got to the 5th loop a few times which is also something I've never come close to before.

Haha, that stage was my goal, but I never made it on one life.  I had several runs that would have put me somewhere between 700,000 and 750,000 by that point, but I would always mess up on the magician in the third loop.

Both the Magician and Mr. X fights are such crapshoots. I had a decent tactic for the Magician that worked often enough but was still awfully random. I could never really get the hang of Mr. X ... had a lot of runs lost to him in any loop.
