Hi all, I'm a retrogamer/collector and I work developing tech products. I love R.O.B. and wanted to find a way to control it without an old CRT TV and play its great games (all two of them) using modern TVs. Since R.O.B. is now an expensive collector's piece I wanted to have a practical solution with zero modifications to my R.O.B. the NES or the games code. Thanks to the community that cracked R.O.B.'s commands we took on a little side project where we made a new set of goggles for R.O.B. with the required electronics and optics to send commands, the goggles connects to an iPhone/iPad app with an on screen classic NES controller to make it move up, down, left right and to open/close his arms, it works really nice and it looks kind of cool. We still need to assemble the final version but I wanted to share what we have so far so anyone with a R.O.B. knows there will be a way to bring it back. Here's an early pic, I'll post more details if anyone is interested.
