Yeah, sucks because every time I've used these in the past (end of quarter), video games have always been eligible.  Not sure why they changed it this time. 

If people are after Nintendo Power Mags or any strategy guides, I believe you could find stuff in the Books section and use this code.... that was where I was thinking of going with it.

That's a first that it had restricted categories, at least for a long time (I know it always had 3 categories eBay Motors, Coins and Money and something else). Have something ending soon over $100 as well game related. Hmmm looks like a pass for me.

What gives, eBay? They can't even give us free money in the desired categories we want??? If you're gonna give free money, AT LEAST make sure Video Games & Consoles is the FIRST category to be allowed. The most important category.

Luckily I was able to max the $100 off a sports card I wanted. Would have preferred video games but at least I collect a lot of stuff!

I really wanted to use this code and was waiting on one, but I deleted the App long ago it was a piece of hot garbage. Have they updated it yet for a fix?

Yeah, the app is super now compared to the past. I was stuck on version 3.0.2 and never wanted to go to version 4 as it was so glitchy and bad with my saved searches always getting deleted, but had no choice as they retired 3.0.2 entirely and had to upgrade to v5. Right now, the app is pretty great overall with v5. Never had any glitches, app force closed and it has everything I loved about 3.0.2, except for the last 100 searches history.

I generally load up my cart with the website, then switch to the app to check out. You can also use a PC Android emulator just running the Ebay app if you really want to be lazy about it.

Bummer that this sale didn't include video games. I usually browse for video game stuff listed in other categories in this case (Books, Collectibles, Toys and Hobbies, Entertainment Memorabilia). There's plenty that's miscategorized or just cool stuff you can find that you won't find under video games. 15% off almost anything is too good to pass up!
