I'm not so much of a low score kind of guy but this was fun. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
Nice finish. I love the custom cart with your name on it. That's a pretty cool concept. What's the story behind it?

It's actually the cart that was awarded to the finalists during the last Winter season of the weekly contests, given as a trophy. I came in 2nd for my tier, but I'll never be satisfied until I finish 1st during the playoffs!

I haven't had much time during the week to get involved, but I have been giving it a shot quite a few times. I don't know how some of you are getting these scores...

Nice job Arnpoly. Up until tonight I was sitting at around 19k but then I finally figured a few things out. Namely the 2 punch knockdowns on the abobos and simons. Also I figured out how to minimize the boxers in the trap room by having them climb the ladder and then 2 punching them at the top.

I am disappointed that I didn't get to put more time in on this one. My weekend got busy. I was hoping to get level 8 or game completed, but I think I did okay. Nice scores, everyone! Some of you guys are nearly pacifists with your low scores

Based on my math during that last run, I think 11k would be possible, but extremely tough to pull off. I'd say that getting a 166,500 "perfect" high score would be easier.

Where u doing the 2 hit knockdowns on everyone too? What was the strategy? I'm dying to find out how u guys did it. I got so lucky I figured out a little bit at the last minute.

I basically used the jump kick as much as possible. There are also multiple areas where enemies could be kicked off ledges, platforms, in the water, etc. and it only costs you 30 points. Any weapon that you are able to use doesn't give you any points at all, so that's something else to keep in mind. I'm sure a lot of people figured it out, but on Stage 3 (Inside the helicopter) you could clear the level without scoring a single point by getting the enemies to fall out the door when it opens.

This was pretty much my strategy too.  Lots of hair grabs and punching for normal enemies.  For the stronger ones, I used kicks to knock them down and then jump kicks when they get back up.

I did have one level specific strategy on the Bolo (Abobo) at the very end of Mission 4.  Get as far as you can on the right facing right before he spawns and start mashing the A button to punch.  He can't get out of it and you can kill him very fast and very cheap!

Yeah for the abobos, simons and even the shadow lee I was able to stand in the middle of them, then face the opposite direction and punch twice and get a knockdown. I don't know if it was the same damage as a jumpkick but for each knockdown it was only 20 points and I think u could kill them with 5. So it might of actually been more economical than using the jumpkicks.

On the last level were u guys Kicking the 3 chins into the pit on the bottom? I would walk them over to as far right as u could go, and kick them over the ledge. Sometimes if u moved downward while they did there spin/flip jump they would jump into the pit all by themselves.

Based on the damage chart from GameFAQs, two punches equals one jump kick, so it should be slightly more economical. I tried both approaches and personally just found it easier to jump kick everything.

No, it never occurred to me to knock them off right there.  Weird that I would completely miss that!
